Castle Kiahuna Plantation & Beach Bungalows

We arrived in midnight for checking in and emailed the property for late arrival before arrival. A man was waiting for us and guided us for checking in and also led us our room.That is big help given the property is large and was very dark in the midnight. Appreciate the man; Otherwise, we might have been struggling for a while to find the right place. This property is well maintained and has large green open space that is wonderful! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Depending on APT location, we booked room with ocean view. Actually we could not see ocean but could see trees close to ocean. Thus please make sure you are going to get rooms ocean view when you are booking. We stayed two weeks. The property does not change any beddings and towels et al. There is a charge for delivery items to room. Bed and sofa are VERY VERY old and dirty! Also make noise and very very soft - Truly uncomfortable and ugly! Others are great.

My husband and I loved staying at the Castle Kiahuna Plantation & Beach Bungalows. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again. The location is perfect, just by Poipu Beach and literally on the sand. The sunsets over there are just magical. The room is a a little bit dated, but that was not an issues for us because everything was super clean and tidy. Our room had a kitchen with everything we needed (appliances, pans, utensils, etc). The pool/restaurant/bar is located across the street at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (not really inside the hotel complex), but that was made clear when we made our reservation and we knew what to expect. The Poipu Beach Athletic Club is actually pretty fun and super close. There are several stores, restaurant and groceries nearby (either long distance or short drive).

Loved it. They had everything we needed. Love having a blender ,dishes , garbage bags, sponges, soap , toilet paper, dish towels and more! We loved it and will stay again

Lovely quiet condo with treetop view lanai. We were in Building 41. Close to everything imaginable . Check in was super super quick and easy. Plenty of parking. Best feature was walk to Poipu state beach park for turtles after sunset and peaceful swimming beach with decent snorkeling. We swam at the resort beach once and it was also very relaxing. We watched sunsets on lawn chairs under the palms. Strongly recommend!

The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. The inside of the condo needs some updating. Two of the outlets didn’t work. The microwave didn’t work. The air only reaches a few feet from where it’s blowing. It would have been nice to have some spices and condiments available. Overall I didn’t let it ruin my stay, but an updated condo would have made the stay better.

Had a Beach yeah. But asked for ocean front and got a peekaboo ocean view.

Had three rooms. Pretty much all the same but one did not have air conditioning. Sixth time we have stayed there. Will stay there again. I’ll just ask for AC units next time. Excellent access to beach.

I didn't like chickens crowing starting at 4 am, but they seem to be everywhere on Kauai. Both cards to the condo failed at the same time when returning the condo on the last night of our stay. It took 20 minutes on the phone and another 10 - 15 minutes at the front desk to get the issue resolved. but overall I will likely stay there is the future.

This property is very lush and beautiful. We loved gathering at the beach each night to applaud the sunset on the big lawn.The pool area is across the street and on the mediocre side. We enjoyed the workout facilities though. I will say the staff could use some friendliness. Overall we were pleased.
