We enjoyed another fabulous vacation at Marriott’s Canyon Villas, in a two-bedroom, two bath villa, at a beautifully maintained and designed Marriott Vacation Club resort. I realized that we have been vacationing at Canyon Villas, since the year it opened, and like Marriott’s Desert Springs Villas, the resort has gotten better over its lifetime, as it has aged. The Canyon Villas staff were warm, welcoming, professional, and efficient. Our check-in and check-out was flawless. The pools are immaculate, and have a variety of options for sun and shade worshipers. There is a remote/isolated “quiet pool." The fitness center, also immaculate, is well equipped with a nice mix of cardio and resistance equipment. It could use a few inflatable exercise balls, of various sizes. We enjoyed access to the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa, on weekdays; the pools were pristine, the lazy river was a lot of fun, and the restaurants served excellent food. We paid a rather substantial fee, for spa access at the the JW, but, it was worth it. I thought we might go to Mountainside Fitness for exercise equipment that the Canyon Villas fitness center does not have, but, we decided on the spa, at the JW, where we were treated with kindness and warm hospitality. There is no shuttle service between Canyon Villas, and the JW, but, the distance is walkable, even in June heat. Canyon Villas is ideally located, convenient to Phoenix Airport, and many excellent restaurants, in close proximity to Canyon Villas. Scottsdale is not far away. One very nice feature at Canyon Villas, is the ability to spend your check-out day at the pool, and to shower in an immaculate, well maintained locker room, before you head to the airport. We look forward to returning to Canyon Villas, annually. The resort and staff are spectacular.

Lovely resort with great exercise classes, hot tubs, pools and staff. We have been coming here for several years now. We like the amenities, comfortable rooms with great beds, and the fact they have a bar and grille by the pool. Villa guests should have easier access to the JW Amenities next door without the limitations is suggested. My only complaint is that ALL hot tubs and pools should be heated sufficiently during all the seasons. From my observation it is a money saver for the resort not to do so, and it penalizes the paying guests. Thank you for a great stay.

The one-bedroom unit at Marriott’s Canyon Villas was really large. There was a full size refrigerator and a range, including oven). There was also a breakfast bar with stools and a full dining room table with eight chairs, along with the living room and large bedroom, bathroom and separate ante room with a tub and sink. The property is small. There are several pools but overall there’s not much space and it feels very compact. We found out just before leaving that there is access to the sprawling pool at the Marriott resort and conference center directly across the street, as long as the occupancy of that resort allows it.

Fui a trabalho para o JW Resort, então para mim a localização foi ótima. Quartos bons, confortáveis e limpos. Mercadinho 24h para poder comprar coisas básicas de emergência.

Havia solicitado pagamento no local, porém o hotel fez cobrança antes da minha chegada, o que me ocasionou uma dor de cabeça com o meu cartão.

Had another wonderful stay at our home MVCI resort! Stayed 3 nights in the 2500 Building room 2503. Room was clean and quiet with a great view of the Cholla Courtyard. The entire property showed well. This was our first visit using the EV chargers on the property and all went well. Visited Cave Creek, Desert Ridge, Kierland Commons, some new restaurants on this visit and will write separate reviews at those TripAdvisor sites. Also, thanks to Layla for a smooth check-in and it was great to see long time MVCI employees Scott and Dom. We have known them since the main pool was just a hole in the ground. Hard to believe over 20+ years have past! Happy and safe travels to all.

This week-long stay was a disappointment overall. We knew we were getting a lock-off studio unit and were assigned building 3000. Here is the list of cons: -Layout of the unit was horrible -Unit was very dated such as the bathroom, carpet, tile flooring, ceiling fan, etc -Bathroom door had to be shut the whole time or it impeded on the kitchenette area and getting out of the unit -Bathroom had a slight sewer odor when the fan was not running (gross) -Bathroom shower/tub was tiny and impossible not to touch the shower curtain when showering -Dark in the room -View was of a small courtyard -Crappy bed and sheets -Overall, no feeling of luxury at all, felt like a Comfort Inn or Super 8 -Pool was closed the first day -JW Marriott lazy river was drained and slides were closed -Instead of a luxurious resort, it felt like an apartment complex Here are the pros: -Full-size frig
