Staff good sea view good

My room was on the 3rd floor, but, as the lift was broken, I was moved to Room 7, on the ground floor. On my last night, there was no electricity at all. Fortunately, I had a torch. There was no electricity on Sunday morning when I woke up. At breakfast, the oven was on late, so I missed out on the full English breakfast. The staff offered me a room on the 4th floor on the Saturday night, which I turned down, as it was on the 4th floor, and the lift wasn’t working. The staff did provide me with a sandwich and a pot of hot water which I appreciated.

Booked this hotel as I was recently working out of Bournemouth airport. On arrival I was charged an extra 36 pounds for parking!! I was then given a room for a single person which was utterly disgraceful. Stains on curtains, dirty wardrobe and bedding. Burnt iron mark on carpet. Windows filthy. I didn’t stay as I didn’t feel safe!! I left with the receptionist saying I need to contact booking.com for a refund. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here!! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK

Shower had such a low pressure it was near impossible to use, lifts not working, room cleanliness poor. I don’t often leave reviews but this hotel was poor. £12 overnight parking too.

Amazing sea views from my room, with everything very nice and clean. Lovely breakfast. Excellent service and care from staff. Good value for money. I would have given 5 stars if the lift had been in order during my stay.

Spa? What Spa? We were asked to use facilites in the next hotel. The outside pool was GREEN.

Lovely and clean, staff friendly and informative, a bit chilly in the room but there was a portable heater. The lift was out of order and the 60 steps to our room kept us fit. Breakfast was nicely cooked, plenty of choice though the hot food was just warm.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Ocean Beach. It’s a 3-star hotel and a little bit old, but we really enjoyed our time there. The staff were wonderful, especially the lady at reception, Chrysoila (sorry if I haven’t spelled her name correctly). She was excellent, knew exactly what she was doing, and truly went the extra mile for the hotel. We will definitely be coming back!

All staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and out went smoothly. The room was average for a 3 star. The hotel areas looked dark and the decor was in need of repainting.Our room was very clean. The heated towel rail was not on, so smalls washing didn't dry. The food in the hotel was very fair on the main. The hotel was very well placed. The noise levels were acceptable. Good value for money.

Rooms are very good and the staff are very friendly. Service is very good every day. Hotel bar is ok. What lets the hotel down is the food. Bleakest just the usual fry up. No cold meats or cheese. Just toast and jams or sea reals. Coffee and tea. Dinner at night is very poor. Starter has the same soup on 3 times a week. Main course not very good so called chicken breast 3 times in a week. Fish was poor just poached never grilled or fried. However the sweets are ok except the so called fruit salad just melon nothing else. Saturday night had to have dinner in the hotel resonant Just a piazza and pasta place, With not much choice on the menu.
