Great location for walks and access to everything

It was very clean & cozy with a very chilled reception & bar area.

Old building hotel but very comfy and really friendly staff.

Value for money. Lovely old style hotel in beautiful seafront location. Excellent large bedroom. Nice staff.

Delightful period hotel perfectly placed on the seafront . Great room proportions and upgraded to a Seaview . Restaurant a gem ....first class service.

Great hotel Great staff Great breakfast

Well located, staff friendly, food good, excellent breakfast. Hotel has been refurbished and looks good. Single room was small and shower needed some TLC, but it worked fine in the end. Only stayed the 1 night and it was good value. Car park is small but I got lucky.

The staff are helpful disability aware (I am blind and stayed with my guide dog) and the facilities and room well maintained, pleasant and roomy. It was well placed for buses into the centre of Portsmouth, Gunwharf and hovercraft or ferry to the I o Wight. The promenade is directly opposite and the common, castle, D Day Museum and Sealife centre a gentle stroll away.

Stay here often as price is reasonable and location good. It does look a bit ‘tired’ in places but I have always found it to be clean and comfortable
