The Royal Beach Hotel

The room was of a good size and clean. Had an issue with the T.V remote and internet which was dealt with swiftly. Overall our stay here was great, rooms could do with a fridge but that didn’t spoil things too much.

Comfortable hotel with excellent service. The room was smartly decorated and warm. The lighting and TV are controlled from a separate master switch but, because of COVID, the notice advising this fact had been taken down. Parking is not easy but I would definitely stay again.

2 day stay over for business hotel is well prepared for Covid 19. Food and bar are available

Pleasant staff, big room, can't get closer to the beach. Overall feel of 'needs updating'; bathroom tired and smelt faintly of cigarettes.

The service on reception and restaurant/bar is a little slow but i guess that's a consequence of Covid19 restrictions. The food is unpredictable. I had 1 delicious breakfast and 1 very basic breakfast. I also had a salad for dinner which was 90% lettuce. It cost £10 and came with no bread so i had to order separately sweet potato fries (they were delicious!)

The food was good. I was skated to leave 2 day’s early and they didn’t refund the money. I tried to get a refund due to the issue with Covid 19. However I went on my trip. It was great. I just would have liked the last 2 nights refunded because they closed the hotel. I believe I was owed that. Location is nice. Just an older building and not upgraded.

I was well looked after, with the coronavirus ongoing they went the extra mile to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

No restaurant on site so you have to use hotel next door. I booked a room with a balcony but given a room on the third floor with patio doors but no balcony. We are also in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic in th UK and the room was not clean so I had to clean myself with antibacterial wipes.

No parking even on roads difficult. Room didn't let me in twice.Bar food ok.
