The location and the standard of the rooms were excellent at a great price.

We were very disappointed with the hotel overall It’s in need of a complete renovation The room was very tired and the furniture was stained with faecal matter To be fair the staff were all very lovely and helpful in difficult circumstances But they’re in a difficult position

Reasonable and well run hotel in a great location

This old hotel needs a revamp to update its tired decor. Needs to embrace its original features, not its corporate look which really does cheaped the look of a once proud building.

Stayed at this hotel as a stop off but very pleased to have found it. Staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming. Location was good although parking is a little limited. Room was spotlessly clean and amazingly had lights. Most hotels have mood lights but this one had really good bright lights so easy to read, put on make up, feel comfortable in the room. Bed was comfy.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food (both breakfast and evening meals) delicious. Our room was at the back unfortunately so quite dark but clean and comfortable, car park is quite small and tight but luckily we did get a spot and because of the great location of the hotel we could walk wherever we wanted to go. Would definitely go back.

Although the hotel is rather dated it is extremely clean. Due to the covid restrictions we could not have the room cleaned but whenever we asked for any top up supplies they were bought to us straight away. The staff here are wonderful they could not do enough for us this is the best customer service i have received in years they are a credit to the chaina creditt

From checking in to leaving the following day I can't thank the staff enough. My daughter and I booked the night away for her birthday, the hotel staff went above and beyond. From upgrading our room to a sea view, to the towels and banner decorating the room. Staff were so friendly, helping sort out a parking spot even though the parking lot was full. We would throughly recommend this hotel. Clean rooms, tidy hotel we loved it Thank you

I booked this hotel for proximity to my son's uni digs, while helping him move in. The hotel has seen better days. While clean and well maintained, the decor is original 1980's and not up to the standards one would expect. While most of this is cosmetic, there are also limitations, including: 1. A tiny car park. There is not enough space for even half the residents. While I'm sure if you booked direct, they'd point this out, booking through Expedia does not make clear the first-come-first served nature of parking. On top of that, there is a hard (180cm?) height restriction, also not mentioned, so I had to remove the roof rack to get into the car park. 2. While the bathroom is (unnecessarily) large, the 1970's tiling is matched only by the poor water pressure and archaic, painfully slow-flushing toilet. The in-room facilities are not terrible (32" flat screen, kettle, small wardrobe, while not terrible, are only just on par with the competition at the low budget-end (other budget chain hotels are much better in this respect and cost the same). There are positives. Staff are keen to overcome any issues you have. The room size for even the basic room is large, so you won't be constantly tripping over your travel companion. Additionally, they have put in place great controls around COVID-19, including distance guides, restrictions in narrow corridors and elevators, and hand gel almost everywhere. Overall, OK, but not great. Would prefer a chain.
