Oranmore Lodge Hotel, Conference and Leisure Centre

We were down on the 17th July for a friend's wedding and have to say was a great experience. Room was superb, we stayed in the cherry suite, staff were excellent and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend and would def go back

The Oranmore Lodge Hotel is a little bit of Heaven upon Earth and surpassed all our expectations! We booked the Hotel for our Renewal of Vows Ceremony celebrating 25 years of marriage, it surpassed every expectation and truly provided our guests and ourselves with the most incredible experience. The Oranmore Lodge is a family owned business run by Mary and Brian Higgins certainly deserves a 5 Star review. From the moment we met the General Manager Padraig Nolan, we knew we were in excellent hands. Our celebration was made more magical by Gibeth who’s attention to detail went beyond the call of duty to fulfil all our needs and wishes. The guests who stayed over said it was one of the best hotel experiences they have ever imagined. The rooms were spacious with a rustic feel which created a tranquil ambience to relax and unwind. The food for our function was absolutely out of this world, it was cooked with love and served with professionalism and passion. Our experience at the Oranmore Lodge was magical and exceptional. Lovely property, helpful staff, it had a fridge in the room which seems to be rare in Ireland from my experiences so far. Food was delicious and staff were amazing. Great place to relax, eat and drink. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool despite wanting to but it looked great.

Hotel was pristine in every aspect. Room was big and had a couch and 1 seater, big tv on a mount which can be moved. Staff very friendly and lesiure centre was amazing. Would revisit without a doubt excellent.

Great stay! Has all the amenities. Air conditioning!

Great hotel

We stayed at the lodge for 5 nights for a family wedding. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is good. We were here for a wedding and the service was amazing. The lovely, accommodating staff are a standout!

We paid for a 4 night stay in one of the superior rooms because, according to the website, they were recently refurbished, offering ultimate comfort with upgraded bathroom amenities. The beds were relatively new and comfortable but tables and furniture were scratched and not in the best of condition. Bedroom ventilation was exceptionally poor as there was just a single opening window light and because of its position, privacy was an issue as it had curtains but no daytime blinds / voiles. The noise outside the hotel was, at times, excessive. The bathroom looked as if the previous enamel coating on the bath had been painted over to ‘renew’ it, the washbasin plug didn’t fit so the basin didn’t hold water and ventilation wasn’t working. We also had to ask for the shower head to be replaced. Friendly and helpful staff and ask for a rear facing bedroom!

Adequate hotel for a 2 night stopover. Breakfast was appalling though and we didn't bother the second morning, we went elsewhere for food. Rooms are dated but clean although beds were badly made. No lock on bathroom door. No iron in room. Dinner was also only adequate. However, pool was great. Nice and warm and changing rooms very clean. As a stopover hotel, it's fine. Definitely not 4 stars though
