Friendly Staff Quick check in Easy parking Country feel location but close to the centre

We arrived Sunday the 3rd for one night. I had booked the wrong dates accidentally for the following night but the reception were so friendly and accommodating, they gave us the same room rate with breakfast and made sure we had a room for the night. It's a beautiful traditional very classy hotel . The staff from entering the hotel to reception and leisure area were all so welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and very cosy as it's away from the village. The children had evening dinner and dessert which was delicious. We stayed in room 19 . A fabulous hotel all round in a beautiful tranquil location which is just a 2 minute walk from the village which has plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, parks for the little ones and fabulous bay off the Galway beach. Will definitely be coming back and staying longer next time. Thanks to the reception staff for making our stay happen and to all the other staff that made our stay so welcoming.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over Galway races week. Cannot recommend enough. The staff were so friendly (especially Kaiden our waiter). The breakfast was relaxed and easy. There was such a varied dinner menu and everything was delicious. A lovely friendly vibe and good value for money. This was our third year and we will be back.

Great room, nice breakfast, service superb

It’s a bit of a drive from Galway but well worth it. We loved our two night stay here. It’s a quaint boutique hotel.

Quick check in, clean tidy room but could do with a fresh lick of paint - up fresh

Hotel lied and cancelled my booking prior to arrival, while I was en route to hotel, without any notice /confirmation on my end - and upon complaint, I was promised a refund by their manager, and subsequently never received refund. Would advise anybody to avoid this property at all costs. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS, they are knowingly misleading and dishonest.

Absolutely recommend this place. The only tip I would give them is to modernise the room locks. Good value in an excellent location.

A big room with plenty of space to move around in. The buffet breakfast was a delightful bonus. Good location and launching spot to duck into Galway or drive in the countryside to see all the wonderful sights. Only thing for me was that the room was quite warm and we struggled to cool it down even with the windows open. Other than that it was great.

Perfectly as marketed. The property is well maintained, and provides a majestic Victorian experience. Breakfast is a solid Irish representation, staff is friendly, and dinner was pleasant. No Elevators but only one flight of stairs up or down. Garden level has a back entrance to avoid carrying luggage down or up the stairs to main entrance. The leisure center was a one stop shop - gym, sauna, steam room, hot tub and pool. Self serve Laundromat, restaurants and even a supermarket are within close proximity as well!!! And very close to Galway! Easy access (about one hour) to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren
