The place is neglected. Loose hanging light switch with exposed wires. Dusty walls. Some power points and light switches not working. Tv wires hanging very untidy. Bed not presented as per the photos. Some cabinet doors not closing properly and hanging skew. Safe was broken. Kitchen and bathroom was really old and unappetizing. Entrance to the facility is sandy and dilapidated steps. Decor very poor. We stayed at another facility at a similar price per night but the two are worlds apart. So, it's not a matter of you get what you pay for. This place was just in utter neglect.

Stunning Mexican vibe direct at the beach. There are a lot of negative reviews and comments about this lovely hotel, which are beyond my experience. From the moment we arrived and only carried our bags maxx 8 meters in the sand ( Entrance is from the beach) , we got welcomed from the night porter Rosandro, which made us feel safe every day and always had a smile on his face, even after a 12/14 hour shift of minding this lovely hotel. The rooms are clean, fresh sheets, towels, toilet paper, every day, plus beach towels and loungers are included as well. All equipment was working without any issue. The location is close to everything you want/need. There was no noise or any sound after 11 pm on none of our 10 days stay, except from the sound of the waves. The community starts every morning to clean up any seaweed, if present. Some days are more, some are less. This is nature, if you don't like it, avoid the season and travel another month of the year ! I can only recommend Capital O Mimi Del Mar if you are looking for a relaxed holiday direct at the beach with a lots of holiday vibes. For the use of your safe box, you get handed a lock without charge, which works perfect. We definitely come here again and can only recommend this wonderful place.

The room was very run down, had ants, and the base from the music was incredibly loud. It was so noisy that we left 3 hours after we checked in and went to another hotel. We were given a wrong key to start with and told to keep our wet towels rather than get new ones. All in all, not a great experience.

The property was located right on the beach and in downtown. Was the perfect location.

The property is a bit outdated, needs a lot of upgrades. We found like 3 roaches in the room. There were barely any amenities in the room, eg only a cheap bar soap for hand washing and bathing. No shampoo or conditioner.

J’ai apprécié l’emplacement, près de la 5e av, des restos et directement sur la plage. Par contre, la chambre est très rudimentaire, la cuisinette était sale à notre arrivée et n’a jamais été lavé de la semaine. Seul la toilette et le plancher ont été lavés. Le personnel est gentil.
