Watching the waves at night the condo was beautiful

The can opener was broken but other than that it was wonderful

So maybe not the best maintained but it was clean. It was right on the beach. It was on the first floor, so we walked out to the ocean. the pool area and the hot tub were wonderful and well maintained. We felt safe. Really 100% enjoyed our stay. When we had to call the front desk or the resort management they were very helpful. We met friends next door that we are still friends with and communicate with on Facebook. It was a perfect location to then venture out all over the island and it was affordable. So as a single mom with two kids who went to Hawaii by herself with those two children, it made that possible.

The location - ocean front - was beautiful. The unit was spacious and well appointed. The pool and bbq area was very enjoyable.

More parking stalls would have been appreciated.

What breakfast? We did have ocean view but also homeless people living on beach, we kept blinds closed. This did make us feel uncomfortable and a bit nervous. There was only 1 wooden post to keep sliding door closed. The other door could be slid open. Dark suite. The pillows on the bed were very thin and so were the sheets. When we entered the suite it was very strong disinfectant smell. Had to open all windows and doors to air out, But it was very clean. Beach chairs would have been useful. The poor and hot tub area was great.

We like that this was right beside Honl beach which we had a lovely view of. We loved where the pool was as well as it face the ocean with beautiful sunset views. The suite was big and comfortable with sufficient amenities. However one of the bifold doors was broken and completely off the hinges. I reported this but no one came to inspect or repair it. Also the bedroom had no curtains or blinds on the window and there was no sac in the bedroom either.

A great property that is very conveniently located in Kona. The condo rental had everything needed and the covered parking was great. Owner was prompt in responding when there was an issue with the code to get in. A nice little beach next door although it seems to be an overnight homeless sleeping area. We didnt have any safety issues that came from that though. Would stay again if back in Kona.
