Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa

Great property, very relaxing

We were disappointed by several aspects of our 3-day stay. First, there was no elevator access to the second floor, which made carrying luggage difficult. Second, the toilet in our bathroom was constantly running. We reported the issue twice, but unfortunately, no one ever came to fix it. Lastly, although the hotel advertises a pool, it’s not on-site—you have to cross the road to another part of the property to access it, which was inconvenient.

Very limitted dining unless you want to pay $70 for a steak. Our first night a racoon ran in front of us on the property boardwalk and then ran onto the tree. Bats are flying over your head every night and are scary when they fly down towards you.

Rooms are not typical yet unique. The course is something special. I’ll be returning as much as I can! This trip even got my wife into golf since she hit a ball into Mexico on hole 15 😊

If this is Paradise, Count Me In! From Landing at the Airport meeting Gary Grant (Airport Manager) and Matthew (Assistant Resort Manager) it was an immediate sensation that this trip was going to be a great experience. Paul that picked us up at the Airport was phenomenal in the way that he represented Lajitas Golf Resort. He was very informative and made you feel at ease. Reception was a Breeze! This place should be rated a 5! The property Restaurant is Amazing! Jessica (Resort Reservations) is Top Notch! John Price (Resort Manager) is down to earth and always looks to take care of the "Customer Experience"!!! I cannot Thank Enough this Resort. I will definitely return soon!

This was a beautiful resort, full of inviting and friendly staff, from the front office, housekeepers, bartender, wait staff, activities director, horse guide, and pool guy - excellent service everywhere! The bed was super comfortable, and the food and drinks were excellent. Beautiful views! Highly recommend!

This was a great spot. Spent two nights here and had the best time. Easy access to Big Bend, great pool, enjoyed the bakery, ice cream and Candalinas for meals. Beautiful grounds and stunning golf course!

We drove 10 hours to get to this place and it was worth every mile. The main reason to come here is for the golf course and Big Bend. The course is first class and one of the best in the state of Texas. The best one I have played in this state. Fairways like carpet. The resort is also very nice. We stayed in a home that is offered within the resort and it was very nice.

We had a wonderful time. The restaurant had a hacienda style atmosphere overlooking the golf course. The food was pricey but super delicious. Our server was fantastic. The grounds/landscaping were beautifully maintained and the Boardwalk was charming with a rustic, old western town vibe. The room was our least favorite in that the bathroom was very small and certain areas are showing signs of aging. The bed was incredibly plush and comfortable. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Smajo, Tony , Nathan and Clu took amazing care of us. I felt like I was staying with friends.
