The outdoor facilities, pool and restaurant are beautiful. Grounds are well maintained. Our room was unacceptable. I called upon check in to ask to be moved but was told they could not accommodate. Another call to request a microwave which never arrived. Housekeeping came in on our second day but didn't bring full towel set plus other essentials. I called and asked for these items but they never arrived.

Fantastic accommodations, got lots of character. Love the western decor. Second visit. Good activities and golf course. Check out their Longhorn museum. Very near Big Bend State Park and short drive to Terlingua.

Room needs major updating, moldy shower, cracked plaster walls, rat trap outside entrance door. Also, tips $ to cleaning ladies are taken by someone else, so give your tips directly to the ladies. Food at resort was overpriced and mediocre at best. Venture out for meals, we found a tasty taco truck 20 min away. Horseback riding and shooting was fun, location was lovely, and staff were very friendly.
