Older hotel. Our room needed a coat of paint, unclogged sink, better water pressure. The food was fair. Nice staff and complimentary coffee. Golf course was great

The resort is beautiful and the staff are very friendly

The mattress in our room was too soft.

It has little competition for quality places to stay in the area. I am glad I chose Lajitas.

What I did not like: the room was so dark I could hardly see. The standing lamp did not work because its electrical outlet, like most the outlets in the room did not work. Poor channel selection. They listed Netflix, but you could not access Netflix. The resort is quite noce, otherwise

10 STARS 🌟! LAJITA GOLF RESORT is our new favorite spot! My husband and I drove down to celebrate his birthday and visit Big Bend National Park. All the staff members/management team and entertainment/bar tenders made this a birthday he will never forget. He was even serenaded by the musicians and the crowd at The Thirsty Goat. I will be forever grateful for the hospitality shown him by other guests and the staff. The restaurants and gift shop staff were all amazing, and the entertainment at The Thirsty Goat was stellar. We dinned at The Thirsty Goat, The Boardwalk Bakery and Pizzaria and The Candelilla Cafe. All of the menu items we chose were a tasty treat! If you've planned a visit, make sure to stop by The Boardwalk Bakery in the morning for the cinnamon rolls and caramel macchiato. YUMMY! 😋 The lemon squares and lemon cake were also a savory treat. We relished  amazing views from our balcony overlooking the beautiful greens and  majestic mountains. The tranquility of the property is unmatched and the night sky was worth every mile we drove to get there. Mr. David led our cowboy shooting activity and was extremely knowledgeable and patient with this beginning shooter. We even got a chance to stop by and have a quick lunch with Mayor Clay on our way in. 🤭  This resort is luxury in the middle of nowhere, and we'll worth the trip. If you're looking for a place to be pampered, have a mental reset, some great food, live entertainment, play a round of golf, meet great people, or simply relax on the balcony and be one with nature, this is the place for you.
