Quite a small building in the middle of a small Highland town. Town is quite beautiful even if there isn’t much going on. Some very nice short walks in the immediate locale including a walk to an 18th century barracks. Staff were excellent and very attentive. I had a really nice bedroom at the front of the property.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Our dinner and breakfast was great. The rooms were nice, clean and well appointed. They have a great bar and outdoor seating which was enjoyable. The Highlands folk museum is less than 2 miles. I would definitely recommend McIness Hotel for any stay in the Scottish Highlands.

We had a meal here the food was excellent. Place is clean, warm and wecolming. Good choices on the menu. I loved the chicken with mushroom sauce. Well presented. Special mention to the young waiter Rory. Well done to him, he was so pleasant and very smart.

Not one fault to be found. Just returned from two nights with the hubby. great location! Lovely friendly staff! Amazing food! Clean! large car park! Large rooms! Well stocked bar! Dog Friendly! Will definitely stay here again, if I am up north.

Just spent a very enjoyable night at The MacInnes House Hotel. The place was spotless and our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had our evening meal and breakfast the next morning and the food was excellent. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful with a special mention to Liz and Allan. We would definitely consider returning if we were in the area again.
