McInnes House rooms with breakfast

Liz could not of been more accommodating to myself and 2 dogs. A real asset to the business. Personable, and friendly. I had burger and chips, just hit the spot! I also had a tasty Sauvignon blanc new Zealand. Thank you so much for a lovely time.

Hotel was friendly and staff helpful. Was great to be able to book dinner at the hotel and order breakfast.

I would thoroughly recommend McInnes House Hotel . Everything about it is of a high standard . The welcome from Liz sets the tone of a brilliant family run hotel . The food is outstanding , best steak pie I have ever tasted and the full Scottish breakfast is freshly made to order . You don’t often get that level of service but Liz exceeds expectation. The decor in the hotel is lovely and the bedroom had good quality bedding and tea and coffee facilities . We will definitely return and thank you to Peter , Robert and Liz . You run an excellent hotel .

Kinguisse is a magic place, and McInnes House a very welcome stay. Clean, tidy, quaint, friendly, easy. A great stay to meet the locals, exploring the Cairngorms. Totally recommend.

We loved Liz who did everything including cook for our stay. She was an amazing cook and also so warm, funny and very helpful. We ended up eating dinner there both nites because it was so delicious the first.

We booked the nicest rooms they offered but were a bit disappointed to find how small and funky they were and had to duck to not hit the ceilings on the side after hauling our overpacked luggage up 4 flights lol. In the end, however, the beds were comfortable and overall we loved our experience there.

Excellent staff, comfort and food. This hotel has been beautifully renovated with lots of nice touches. There is also front lawn with tables and chairs and very pleasant outlook. The owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for two nights as a weekend break and from check in to check out it was great. It is a lovely hotel just off the Main Street with nine bedrooms. The room we had was on the top floor and was clean, well presented and had tea/coffee facilities. The bed was comfy and there was a power shower in the bathroom which was great as being on the top floor the water pressure can be a bit hit or miss. We had dinner here both nights and were not disappointed and the stand out dish for me was the home made steak pie. The Sea bass dish was also really good with two fillets cooked perfectly. Breakfast was outstanding and cooked to order with lots of choice. First morning we went for the full breakfast but second day had to scale it back to the pancakes and bacon as the portions were huge!! Big thank you to Liz for the food and service as nothing was too much trouble and really made a good stay into a great one. If you are thinking of staying anywhere in the Cairngorms/Aviemore area I’d recommend staying here for the true Scottish welcome experience.
