Pluses: Newly remodeled rooms, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable bed, excellent location to downtown Minuses: More expensive, Too many add on fees (especially $20/night for parking!) Check-In Experience: When we arrived, other people in front of us were upset because their rooms (as well as ours) weren’t ready yet. Fortunately the front desk person waived one of the many fees. Unfortunately he didn’t tell us about the parking fee, and since we were not aware of it, we ended up getting a ticket the next morning. We went to the front desk and were then informed about the fee and given a pass to put inside our car. (Lesson learned: make sure to read the fine print on the reservation confirmation!) In the end, extra fees totaled $65/day—$45 for Destination Fee + $20 for Parking: RIP OFF! If you don’t mind paying the extra fees, then this place is for you. Just Beware!!

The inn is lovely and in a great location. Check in time was 4 pm. I arrived early and hoped to check in sooner than 4, but the room was not ready so that is understandable. The problem is that the room still wasn’t ready until after 5:30 pm! There were about 5-6 groups of guests who were waiting for our rooms to be ready. So, there was either a cleaning staffing issue, communication issue, or management issue (no manager onsite). The front desk were young and overwhelmed. Josh did a great job managing the situation but the manager should have shown up to help. If this hadn’t happened I would have rated 5 stars.
