Nice hotel a short walk to Chaweng central along the beach.

We spent a very relaxing time at the pool side cot and had a pleasant walk on the beach. We enjoyed nice meals and drinks at the Italian restaurant all day.

Baan Haad Ngam was a fantastic resort. I booked into a one of the Villas and the personal pool and jacuzzi is insanely cool. Room was massive too. Definitely worth spending a bit more for the space. Location is very good as its less than 10 minutes ride into Chewang main beach area so you are close to the action but not in it. A few restaurants, ATMs, pharmacy, convenience stores around the hotel so that's handy. Hotel staff were extremely friendly (from the receptionist, bell boy, waiters/waitresses to even the security guard. Love Thai people. They also have a super infinity right next to the beach. Swam every day with a good cocktail to boot during happy hour.

Hotel was in great location but we had to negotiate 38 steep steps to access our room. Definetely would not recommend for older customers wanting a sea view. Whilst room was clean & tidy housekeeping times were somewhat erratic. Concerning actual unit we believe it would benefit from a makeover having stayed at various equivalent rated properties over the past 7 years on Koh Samui (PS set of actual drawers would have been fantastic) Restaurant (Olivios) was very good.

Hotel was only 20/30% occupancey and stuck us in a back room under the service rooms , dark , noisey , damp , not clean . Would never go back to ko Samui and don't stay here . Pid for a Superior room - Nice work expedia .

Stayed in the Deluxe Villa Sea View with private pool - nicely appointed room, spacious and reasonably maintained. Quiet location away from the hustle of some of the other hotels along the beach. The only negative is that you need to keep an eye on the ants that can make their way into the room given the lush trees surrounding the hotel. Staff were responsive with pest control. :) Highly recommend this hotel for couples and families. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thumbs up.

After staying in many hotels that we’re not like their pictures, this was a jackpot! The pool view is really that gorgeous, the rooms look like the pictures plus cozy and clean, and as a bonus, the staff is wonderful!! The breakfast buffet with omelet station is delicious and the HH (bogo drinks!) at the pool was great too. Area is quiet, and about a 5 min motorbike ride to the downtown area. Motorbikes were about 300 baht a day and can be rented directly through the hotel. This hotel was the perfect ending to out two week tour of Thailand!

A fantastic stay with a beautiful beach and shallow waters perfect for our young daughter. We had a sea view pool villa which was excellent, my only criticism is the ‘sea view’ is a little misleading as you can only see a fraction of the sea from the room. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and fantastic food at the restaurant!

For some bizarre reason, horribly loud, music is played from the start of breakfast at 7am right through the day into the evening. It's so invasive and inappropriate for a small boutique hotel, it leaves you unable to concentrate on anything like reading your book or relaxing. We asked really politely numerous times for it to be turned down, the first time it was turned down to a normal level but quickly crept up again. After that staff just ignored the requests making out they didn't understood what was being asked. So we ended up spending a lot of time away from the resort where it was quieter which was really, really disappointing and a real shame because the pool area is so lovely, it never used to be like this, I don't know what's changed, perhaps the resort is trying to appeal to a younger demographic but I'm in my 20's and didn't appreciate it whatsoever. It was the same tracks repetitively played on loop over and over throughout the day, it became like mental torture having a mix of elevator music and ridiculously auto-tuned, whiney, cheap cover tracks, (where the lyrics aren't even correct) blasting out and you could see other people becoming agitated by it too. I feel the music is more for the bar/restaurant staffs enjoyment as apposed to the guests. No other resorts along Chaweng beach play their music so loudly during the day minus Ark Bar and a few other places, but these are party resorts and so of course the guests are expecting a different experience.

Had a nice stay , took a Pool Villa with Sea View not much of sea is visible but it was a good Room with Good Size and Helpfull staff .
