Radisson Hotel Varanasi

Booked king bed and got twin There was no shuttle to airport as advertised. I had to book a taxi. The room didn't have in room dining menu and when asked a person delivered a torn menu. He also barged into my room to check if there was one hidden in some drawer. He didn't find any and left with apology. It was totally unnecessary to check each drawer. He was very intimidating. I felt unsafe and scared. The food was terrible too. Please avoid this hotel. The pool clealry needs cleaning.

We chose Radisson Varanasi for our recent family visit. It's international hotel chain so we expect that standard. Bathroom tap was leaking. We had horrible experience at the coffee shop when we went there for lunch . The cutlery on the table was not cleaned properly & soup bowl that my brother took was unclean. To top it all there was a cockroach on the bread cutting board near the knife. It was such a turnoff. I couldn't eat properly after that and didn't eat at hotel after that. Also we were presented the food bill without any apologies. I had to order in room breakfast reluctantly because I was travelling with my mother who is 80+ & was not comfortable taking her around to other better nearby hotels. Break fast I ordered came after 50 minutes when I called again to remind my order.

Room needed an update is an understatement. Buffet breakfast was ok not more not less. For the price expected something better (especially given i was in India -- $190 per night). Disappointed to say the least -- wish there had been a Marriott in the city. On upside, only stayed one night.

hotel is old, although staff is outstanding. not your typical radisson.

Good property but the pool is in need of better cleaning. Good buffet options for breakfast and dinner. it's Varanasi, so location is always a struggle - not too much of worth to see in the immediate surroundings. I'd book here again!

Great service and good quality hotels and room. WIFI however is terrible. Unlike almost any other hotel they strangely needed to send a paper slip up to your room with a long password. The WIFI and password constantly timed out and they had to send a slip up every few hours. Ridiculous.

VERY POOR ROOM, ROOM TELEPHONE DO NOT WORK,BATHROOM WAS IN BAD SHAPE

From the time we walked in until we left, the people in the hotel were there to serve us. They helped us with all our needs and any question we had. We came early and the y let us check-in and we left late because of our flight and they let us stay later. It's a great place away from the mess of Varnassi. You can catch a tuk-tuk to Varnassi and still have the comfort of staying in a nice, safe, and reliaible place.
