Hyatt Place Daytona Beach-Oceanfront

The location was great. Right on the ocean. Parking was convenient and safe. Staff were friendly and on the ball.

The hotel is quite worn down. The shower barely had any water pressure, the faucet in the bathroom sink leaked because the nozzle was too small for the sink. The lighting in the room was very dim. It was freezing cold in my room. I had to cut it way, way down. No chair to sit on balcony. The lobby was fair to good. Elevators were slow and worn.

Such a disappointment. We chose this property based on it being a Hyatt Property. The hotel was filthy. The room was dark and dirty upon arrival. The shower barely had enough water pressure to shower much less wash your hair. the staff was cold and uncaring. The breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had. We were not even acknowledged much less asked how our stay was upon checking out. Will not make the mistake of staying here again.

Good location. Clean. Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Only con was no chairs on the balcony to enjoy the oceanfront view.

The location was good, the pool was very nice and big and the staff was great!

The water pressure of the shower was horrible and in the middle of showering the water turned completely off, the toilet was super hard to flush, mini refrigerator was warm and they gave out more parking passes than spaces available which was very frustrating.

I would not recommend this property. The lack of chairs around the pool is minimal at best. The rooms HVAC unit was not functioning during our stay and we were not able to switch room. The follow up from the staff regarding a refund needed an escalation with Corporate after being told many times it was taken care - still has not happened.

Didn’t like that my room wasn’t ready when I arrived. I had to push plans back because it took over an hour in half to just get inside my room.
