Sand Dunes Resort and Suites

The property has several pools, things to do for small kids, unit is good size with everything u need to stay for a week. Has restaurant, pizza place, a store for small necessities! Beach is clean and few steps away, arcade for kids, the cleanliness is a problem! Walls were dirty, floor was literally black when I wiped a spill! I liked the place but if I stay again I would have to clean it. And I am not a picky person but this is unacceptable!

It was nice having a 2 bedroom suite and being near the ocean. However, the grounds had a few water features that were not functioning. This was not communicated prior to our stay. The water features were a big draw for staying at the hotel with children. Also, there is no included meal offered, not even a continental breakfast. The food was very expensive. The hotel was not dirty, but not as clean as other places. Parking is free, however finding a spot is very difficult.

This property was great for my kiddos... 5 kids (3teens 2tweens) ... we stayed in the three bedroom two bathroom. Everyone had a bed ... and the balcony was big enough to stretch from the living room to one of the bedrooms that was ocean view. I utilized the full kitchen to make breakfast mornings and dinner twice. . Which saved a bunch of money... also the unit had a stackable washer and dryer which was great to wash clothes and swimwear as often as we needed... not taking home dirty wet clothes was a plus... The site had a water park and pool which my kids took full advantage of every day... beach front resort 👌... i would stay here again but the overall cleanliness could be better... i covered the couch with a blanket because it looked liked it hadnt had a good upholstery cleaning in a while, and the base boards were filty in the bathroom .Under the couch pillows were nasty and there was left over trash in the bathroom cabinet and dirty dish in the dishwasher... Basically it was hard for me to unwind until i lysol'd the place down and wiped down all important touch and sitting spots with clorox wipes...and im NOT OCD ... just keen on cleanliness. . . Which could use some work.

The room they stuck us with o. The first night was horrible broken down and filthy!! Had I not had family staying in other rooms I would not have been aware that there were much better rooms to be had. They did however change our room which was definitely better but still broken down and dirty!! All in all I would NOT recommend this hotel . We where overcharged!!

My wife and I have been coming down there for about the past seventeen years.They use to give out complimentary gifts for your anniversary. So it seems like they stopped that for some reason or another. We’ll continue to vacation at the Sand Dunes Resort on our anniversary though.Until Next Year 🙌🙌🙏🙏

Living space was dirty and roaches. Only thing that i like was the pool areas and that it was off the beach

Great place for families with children. We loved the water park and pools. The rooms need a bit updating. The sink was clogged and my husband had to clean it (which was gross). Lots of good things but def needs improving and it would be a 10/10.

Nice big room for my family of 6. The parking is terrible in the garage. The cleaners never come. We had to request multiple times in a day to get towels to bathe. Overall it was nice but it could have been better with cleaning the rooms and keeping us stocked with towels. The floors were very dirty.

Front desk staff are not pleasant. Rooms were dirty and not up to date. It is not worth the money

This hotel is definitely a catfish. The pictures do not really show you what the property is like. It is old and out dated. There was mold in the AC unit and on the back of the door. There are no outlets close to the bed so forget charging your phone at night by your bed. The majority of the staff has an attitude. I spent $50 on cleaning supplies to feel a little better about sleeping there. I also bought pillow cases and Lysoled the sheets. Never again will I stay here.
