Sand Dunes Resort and Suites

The property had a lot of things to do including a very good restaurant in the main building. Employees very nice, building could use a face lift. The water park really is for young children,not teenagers. Outside pool is more like a lazy river than a actually pool.

It was the worst hotel I have stayed in. There were roaches in our room, a dirty wash cloth. It was never cleaned. The building smelled horrible like someone died there and left the body to rot. Horrible customer service! I booked a 3 day stay and couldn’t cancel once I checked in and they wouldn’t give me a refund! I stood 1 day and left the next morning.

So let me start by saying the location 5 STARS , great bar, restaurants, store clerks were friendly the ocean was amazing, very diverse as well However..The phone in our room didn’t work, front desk staff not friendly at all We had no way to tell them that we needed more wash cloths ….I sent my kids downstairs to ask for some and they were told there were no more.. fine.. we’ll grab some in the am As we started the day we made a beeline to the front desk person who I believe may have been talking on their phone on a headset so we didn’t know if they were busy or not and just stared at us as we approached.. and said “Yeah?”… Yeah???? Ok… So we asked “Hey, what happened last night with the was cloths “ and she replied that wasn’t my shift so I have no idea… ok fair enough but it was as if they took offense as we were blaming the particular person. Here’s the kicker…we finally got a bag of full of towels wash cloths it was great… Until we seen that one had a crap stain on it and threw it all out.. Will never come back However I take issue with some of the front desk staff just weren’t friendly.. We did have 4 people total my wife & 2 teenagers so I would have thought they’d prepare for extra towels,etc.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while the atmosphere was calm and the decor was stylish, the overall experience left a lot to be desired especially when it came to cleanliness and customer service. Let’s start with the room condition: The furniture looked modern at a glance, but was not well maintained. The rug was visibly stained and worn, and the seating had grime and buildup in the seams. These might seem like small things, but when you walk into a space expecting comfort and cleanliness, these details matter. Even more disappointing was the front desk staff. One team member was on his phone while we were speaking to him, then responded with a confused “Who?” because he clearly hadn’t been listening at all. Another told me I’d receive a call when my room was ready, but I never received one. And there was no explanation of the hotel layout, amenities, or where to go. We had to figure it all out ourselves. The property itself has potential, it’s modern, and the natural lighting is beautiful but the staff’s nonchalant attitude and lack of care toward guests made it feel unwelcoming. With better attention to detail, proper cleaning, and staff training, this place could offer a much better experience.

Everything worked out great. Grandkids love it,so that’s all that matters Would stay there again

Room was okay, had a few light switches that controlled the same lights and a few that controlled nothing.

We LOVED our stay; we had an oceanfront room. Gorgeous view! AC was nice and cold, the pool options were great for my kids (age 5 and 7months). They had an AMAZING New York pizza spot inside of the resort and a convenience store- Publix is 5 mins away if you need more. My only complaint would be parking in the main garage was COMPLETELY packed by the night time we had to park in the next building which didn’t have elevators (I had to carry down the baby stroller). I loved my stay and will definitely be back!
