Sand Dunes Resort and Suites

Very nice property with amazing food choices right on the beach didn't have to leave hotel for anything

It was excellent!!! I loved the place, the water park was awesome the kids loved it . The food was great as well ,the only thing I didn't like was the parking it was very hard to find a place to park when we first arrived but after that it was a little bit better.

Locations was convenient to the beach however the building I stayed in with the kitchen was in poor condition, the room had an odor, poor lite, lights not working, dust on the walls the entire room was horrible. I have never felt so dirty and uncleaned, the first night I had to kill a cockroach that ruined my entire time. At check in the person with a name tag said manager was not welcoming seem like I was bordering him.

we got two bedrooms, and they were both twin beds with an ocean view. one had new paintings, new bedframes, a new flat screen tv, a closet with a sliding door mirror. the other room had none of that, and was also dusty as well. one room was very clean, while the other wasn’t. the ocean view was nice, and staff was cordial, but would not answer the phone when we called front desk, especially when we needed new bedsheets. it kind of looked like the updated and refurbished one room but not the other

Liked how the parking was close, but no signs that there was an elevator, we had to search for it, rooms were run down corners were dirty showers walls had chipped paint and rough, bathroom doorknob was coming off, top of fridge was gross, cleaning staff left sinking liquid puddle in the hall for days m, elevators were half working and parts broken inside. No luggage transfers racks to be found, check in staff was short and rude and did not infor us of anything of the hotel or when things opened. Wouldn’t stay there twice.

Wonderful vacation spot

This property was clean for the most part. There was always someone cleaning the main areas and near the pools. There were always plenty of pool towels for our family of 5 and we never had to wait on pool chairs. There was always an abundance. The restaurants were good, but I was disappointed there wasn’t more variety of food without leaving the resort. The room we stayed in was stocked and cleaned pretty well, but our kitchen only had 2 burners, and one did not work. We had to eat out every meal because of this and that made our bill skyrocket. Luckily, we went for the budget hotel stay so we had extra money to splurge on food. This hasn’t always been the case for our family. We usually need to eat in because of not having money all the time. Overall, the place was great and there was plenty to do!

Location and amenities were great. Staff was friendly, property was clean. We had dinner from the beachfront restaurant and made several trips to the arcade, and our some loved the waterpark. We stayed in the south tower and our only complaint is that the hallways are so loud due to no sound insulation. We were unable to sleep due to very loud families out in the hallway on lower floors late at night, and woke up before 6:00 on our last day due to a crying baby out in the hallway. Overall, a great time but unsure if we would stay here again due to the noise factor.

Ok ok place....

Water slides do not open until 11am…staff not friendly at all. Room was ok. PARKING IS TERRIBLE! Will not stay here again.
