Letti scomodi nonostante fossero ampi ma con materassi usurati si sentivamo le molle ho riposato male . Per quanto riguarda il buffet colazione ottima ma la cena per quanto riguardava carne e pesce poco ,e il solito petto di pollo e il solito diciamo merluzzo scottato alla piastra con dosi minime ... primi inesistenti se nn paella basica ... io diversificherei la carne e il pesce variando e aumentando le porzioni. Per il resto frutta e verdura e dolci il top. Sempre che uno si sazi solo con quelli . Nell' insieme discreto

The first time we stayed in Playa Esmerelda was around 25 years ago, and reading the reviews we wanted a relaxing chilled holiday, so we knew exactly what to expect. We booked a superior room on AI basis and our room couldn't have been more perfectly located as the first one from the lobby 2501. We found the food very varied at Breakfast, lunch & dinner in the restaurant ( we didn't eat in the pool bar) and the staff all very friendly , all the staff at the Blue bar in the lobby were really great and very accommodating. There are free water stations around the hotel where you can help yourself anytime day or night and fill up your water bottles, don't worry if you haven't one as they sell them for 4 euro. Music in the Blue bar is chilled and starts at 8pm, we didn't venture to the pool bar for late music as we were just there to chill down. If you are looking for the most relaxing holiday then I can't recommend Playa Esmerelda enough, if you are looking for fast food chains & karaoke bars then Costa Calma isn't for you, but it certainly ticked all the boxes for us

Hotel molto tranquillo, pulito e con ottimi servizi. Buona anche la cucina. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

La sera non c'era nulla da fare nei dintorni e l'animazione serale dell'hotel non era un granché. Cassaforte a pagamento.

Stayed here for one night due to hotel logistics. We had shortlisted this prior to holiday but went for the vibe of Tindaya instead. We had two rooms booked at Tindaya but as they were full occupancy when we arrived, the two rooms were opposite sides of hotel. So offered us Esmerelda for the night until two adjacent rooms became available. So took chance to try it. Also we had one 17yr old with us so had knocked Esmerelda off our list early on. But this didnt seem to be an issue with the hotel being adults only - didnt really question at the time but could be because we were essentially getting a favour from both sides they didnt note or mention being underage. The handover was handled really well, good comms between the hotel so everything was in place when we arrived. We had two rooms at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea. I will say they are a bit of a trek to go and forwards from the pool and restaurant areas. Nothing showstopping but not the easiest route. We had two adjacent rooms and with our patio doors opening out onto a nearly private piece of grass it was like having a min-garden to ourselves. Restaurant was good. Decent good range and if you are a little bit of a foody there are a la carte type dishes available - on comparison with Tindaya - although Tindaya food is good, proteins are limited to grilled meats which get a bit tiresome after a while. Main bar was really nice. Again the drinks are a little more bespoke than Tindaya which adds to a little bit mote class. Pool area was nice - bit of a theme - compared to Tindaya it was nice to be able to head to pool and actually get sunbeds. Overall the decor is slightly dated - could do with a refurb. But would definitely shortlist if we visited Fuertaventura again.

La SPA, il motivo principale della nostra scelta non era proprio il massimo e molto basilare.

We are here at the moment so I thought I’d write this review now. Starting with check in: we arrived weary after s long journey (90 mins) from the airport. We stood waiting at the desk for over 25 minutes! At no time did any member of staff acknowledge our presence or offer us a drink whilst we were waiting. When we eventually got to the desk it was a fairly uneventful check in. A drink was offered and we were shown to our room. I did report this all to a manager called Eduardo. The room is nice and the bed very comfortable. We were given 1 pool towel each (not the biggest we’ve seen and very well used) and were told we could have ONE free change during our 10 days and if we wanted an extra change it would cost €2! Thankfully we had brought very large towels from home but this would have been a problem if not. I then went to open the safe only to find out that it would cost €18 or €2.70 per day to use In all the years we have been travelling we have NEVER been asked to pay to store our valuables away. I have a lockable suitcase so we used that instead. Sunbeds are okay but there have been incidents during our stay when people couldn’t find one. Some staff are friendly but others could do with some customer service training. I did speak to a manager 4 days ago to ask if I could take a soft pillow down to the pool area as I have fibromyalgia and find the lounger quite uncomfortable- he said he would get back to me…… I’m still waiting! I would have appreciated an answer even if it was a no! The food is okay but it can be a bit of a free for all when busy. One big gripe I have is that there is a water machine in the restaurant which you can help yourself to, BUT in the evening they cover it up and charge €3 for it!!! It’s the same water, they just put it in a bottle out the back. I now take a plastic bottle with free water in to dinner with me. How they get away with this is beyond me. With 2 days left here I’m looking forward to getting home and won’t be booking an H10 hotel again.
