Gorgeous, historic inn and well appointed. Quick walk to the village center. Marshall was lovely and very kind. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The room and the bed were very comfortable. However , the Inn is still advertised as having a hot breakfast. I think it was discontinued in January. One of the reasons we chose this inn. Also there is a "stairway to heaven", very steep stairs to climb to get to room. My husband and I are 70. We were able to do this but certainly not anyone with mobility issues or senior citizens not fit. I usually do not write negative reviews but I think people should know this. Also if you are very overweight you may not fit in the shower.

We loved everything, the suite itself was very nicely decorated, the size of the suite was perfect, the location was great. Chocolate and wine for our anniversary were very special and such a sweet gesture. They even provided bathrobes. The kitchen had everything you may need during your stay. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Lovely, convenient spot to stay in Rockport. Totally walkable to downtown. Room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

We had the “Above Board” room with a king bed. Everything was clean and the room was very nice. The room is at the top of the spiral stairs, which are very steep—you might find them hard to maneuver if you have any problems with stairs. However, once you get up there, it’s perfect.

The host was very nice and the hotel was exactly as it was described. Peaceful, clean, decorated with the style and located in a very convenient area. My only complaint will be about the announcement on Expedia about the free breakfast. As it happened, breakfast is no longer served at the hotel since the beginning of the year 2025. The price for the night is pretty steep then. It wasn't a nice surprise and it has never happened to me before when booking with Expedia.

The place is very nice, clean and location is very good and beautiful, there’s good parking place attached to the house and the internal facilities and equipment and kitchen are great!

We booked for 3 adults but upon arrival we sadly saw that the accommodation was only prepared for two guests, there were no additional bed linens or towels for the third person. I attempted to contact the property owner via message with no response, so I called directly. A man answered, and his tone was rude and dismissive from the start. He openly complained about needing to come over to bring us the missing items. When he arrived, he simply dropped the linens and towels without offering to help or even apologize. I then asked about the breakfast that was included in our booking, and his response was shockingly aggressive. He claimed they do not serve breakfast, dismissed my attempt to show him the booking confirmation, and stated that “what you see is not what I see.” He then shut the door and left, showing zero interest in resolving the issue or offering any kind of compensation or solution. Although the accommodation itself was clean and pleasant as described before, this experience deeply impacted our vacation. We felt misled, ignored, and disrespected. The behavior of the host was completely unacceptable, and the fact that we paid for services we did not receive makes this even more serious.

You cannot fault the inside of the Inn. We were left very disappointed as they no longer did breakfast and we were not informed. We booked originally back in late 24 you would think that they would have advised us of the change. Please if you are expecting breakfast you will be disappointed and paying for something you will not receive. Not happy posting this but other guests should be made aware.

A beautiful, clean suite. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. A 10minute walk to the centre of Rockport. A truly beautiful property.

When I booked Addison Choate, I booked and paid because it was breakfast included. It was only when we arrived, there was a note to say they no longer include breakfast. There were vouchers supplied for a few eateries in town that offered a discount but it was a little dissapointing not to be notified beforehand as the breakfast had been included in the price. This would not stop me rebooking though as we loved the property and location.
