Location for Warner Studio is great, 20 min walk or 5 mins drives. Breakfast was full english breakfast. The hotel ground are lovely, walked around the gardens enjoying the May heat, by the fountain.

Room was basic, the mattress on the bed was to soft, could do with getting new mattresses. furniture was damaged and held together by a piece of 3x2 wood. walls by the bed were damaged (cracked and scuffed). The images in the advert, suggest that you are staying in the manor, however I was put in a different part of the hotel, to the side of the manor.

Breakfast was lovely, grounds very pretty to sit and explore and good atmosphere. Bar was efficient and staff serving there were welcoming. Very short journey to the Harry Potter studios which we had planned. Was allocated a room close to the amenities as requested which was helpful so didn't have to walk too far.

Description details air conditioning in the rooms - however it is more like just a vent. Our room was hotter than the corridor even though we had the settings on lowest temperature - and being 8 months pregnant this was not great. However, a gentleman at reception kindly let us borrow the fan on the reception desk before we went to bed, albeit he was not able to source a fan which was odd considering the weather so had to use this one. Water sprayed everywhere during a shower, so bathroom was soaking even when floor towel was put down. Unfortunately the iron in our room was faulty and had a burn mark on it which we didn't see before using it (as you typically assume it would be clean). This meant when my partner went to iron a nice shirt in the morning, it got an awful mark that would not come off. We mentioned this to the lady on reception as we were leaving when asked if everything was ok, she couldn't have cared less, despite showing her a picture of the iron and the mark on the shirt. Just received a 'thanks for letting me know.' Not even an apology. Didn't leave the best impression.

The location for Harry Potter studios is excellent.

The pool area is very much in need of updating and the water was very murky.

Good location and great grounds. Comfortable and clean room.

Some staff were rude and unhelpful. Food wasn’t great. Hotel is not as nice as it used to be.

We got to the hotel at 12:30 and understandably was told our room wasn’t ready for check in, the man on the desk told me that if we wanted to explore London and come back in the evening then that would be fine. Roll on 5pm I have a phone call of the hotel asking if we could cancel our room due to a “maintenance issue”. Having travelled 3 hours this wasn’t even an option for us. I got told I’d receive a phone call back to discuss “options”, I didn’t receive a call and had to phone call myself whilst obviously panicking. The lady still told us she’d prefer to cancel our booking, by the end of the phone call we were told we’d have a room to stay in. When we arrived back around 9:30pm, another lady on the desk told us it was due to an overbooking issue. No communication within themselves. Very disappointing stay, you caused us a lot of panic and upheaval for a few hours during which was meant to be a very rare date weekend away.
