Colonial Motel and Spa

I have been staying there over the years since teenager with my family. I do love that area, however it has changed quit a bit, random garbage outside and overall it is old and in need of updating. Use of pool is nice but also needs updating as well. The bed was comfortable and shower hot, internet access fine. Breakfast is basic fruit, cereal and coffee, toast. We were told they have bacon and sausage on weekends only. There is overall a different vibe there now.

Beware -- this is not a safe place. We did not feel safe here. There were people all over the parking lot, and we had no idea where most of them came from. Also, we had no hot water whatsoever. We waited for the hot water for about 20 min and then gave up.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Colonial

The facility included the swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi is a plus for us!

Location, quiet, suite amenities and size

Lovely property. Staff is amazing. Room clean, spacious

Common areas smelled badly. Tv malfunctioned and wouldn’t work for more than a minute. Hair dryer was broken. Walls were dinged and damaged. Toilet barely flushed. Everything was generally unkept. Wires hanging down. Even the price seems expensive for what I got.

The pool and spa is great. Building is ran down but rooms are clean and tidy. Would book again just for the fact you get access to their pools and spa.

I booked this room last-minute but checkin was smooth, room was comfortable. I like that there are two restaurants in walking distance.
