I had the worst experience of any hotel I have ever lived in. After I checked in they changed the rules on how many guests you can have to only one per day. I tried to explain to the person in charge that the new rules shouldn't apply to me because I had been there two days It ended up costing me money because the person in charge shouldn't have interfered. It was between the guest and myself. We exchanged hostile words. The Police was called. Luckily I know he Officer. Therefore I was in a hostile environment for five days. I couldn't enjoy my stay. Because of the rule changes potential guests cancelled their reservations and went somewhere else. I have pictures where a gentlemen had more than one guests there. Just BE AWARE.

Hotels.com should be ashamed of themselves for having this hotel on their site. I tried to cancel my reservation because I was worried about the reviews. Hotels.com wouldn’t allow it. There’s no hot water, my sink and toilet leaked on the bathroom floor every day, and my cable never worked. My room didn’t have a microwave as described. The staff did all that they could , but just didn’t have the resources to fix anything. I hold Hotels.com responsible. I was on the phone with them for two days explaining my issues and they could’nt have cared less. They could never contact the hotel and pretty much told me that I’m screwded , so I’ll never use Hotels.com again. They do not protect their customers!

We arrived at 0020 with one person in front of us. He was having problems checking in also. We were told that we didn't have a booking, even though we showed him our confirmation details. He was trying to dismiss us and we were standing our ground. All the hookers checking in for the night with their johns were processed immediately. After realizing we were leaving without accommodation, we were given a room at 0155. It was dirty, the refrigerator leaked and no hot water. During my stay and many encounters with the front desk I saw other people with hotels.com reservations being turned away even though they were showing the staff their booking confirmation. If you book here, you better have a back up plan. If you don't speak Spanish, you don't have a chance!!!

I like the location, very close to the town and the beach, quiet, grounds kept clean and well manicured. Rooms are clean, but they need to pay more attention to the small details before checkin...eg. iron, microwave, ironing board. The thing I don't like is that in the evenings, the water is not usually hot or you have to let it run for a while to get warm water. There is no way to communicate to the Front desk, unless you walk there, if something should happen to you in the room, no one will know until the maid comes to clean and if you have your Do Not Disturb sign on the door, no one will ever know that you may need help. Also the faucets in the bathroom I was in needs attention.

The property need more maintenance, and the old building must be closed...

70% of the time no hot water and slow at cleaning the room but would recommend it.

Decent place. I was in the penthouse which was nice but had maintenance come out like 3 times. Annoying but ok I guess...

The property was nice and clean but the room was outdated, the remote fornthe tv or the air conditioner didn’t work.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. And I can say my first time was better. They use to give you delicious free breakfast but not anymore since they merged with the hotel next door. This hotel is nothing fancy we stay here because of the proximity to Sosua Beach there is a staircase that leads right down the beach. And I love this beach. We spent 2 day relaxing poolside with our family. The pools are beautiful and hardly any people were using them. The rooms are pretty basic and the beds were harder than I remember. Some of the cons were our tv didn’t work not that we really watched tv but it would have been nice background noise. Also our shower didn’t get very hot either. Now the pros the air conditioning worked great and I love the balaconies. We would relaxing each night watching the sunset. The balconies offered great views of the beach. If your looking for a no frills hotel right on the beach this is your place.

No hot water rats cats birds in the facility no wash cloths this place needs investment no access to the beach at all pool closes at 6 or 7 poor housekeeping. I had to complain for 2 days to get a working tv and the phone didnt work i dont think it ever did it was just for show because the phone was filthy amd the slidding doors didnt lock easy breakin
