Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos- All Inclusive

The staff was amazing!! Especially Mario the manager at El Molino and Farina is spectacular!! Alfredo the bartender at Mahika made us some out of this world drinks. Rubita at the coffee shop- is everyone’s mama! Jorge Rivera and Delfino provided above and beyond care at the inifinity pool.

Overall, I had a great stay at Hyatt Ziva and enjoyed my trip. I stayed for 6 days with my wife, and we travelled with another couple. I was hesitant about staying at an all inclusive that was not adults only at first. I had Globalist status during the stay, and our room was upgraded to the next suite level, with club access. There was a separate check-in area for Globalists, we were greeted with drinks and check-in was smooth. I will separate this review into multiple sections. Globalist and Club Level Perks: For our suite in building 3, we were also assigned a butler, Rick, who was great and very proactive with helping to keep us informed of activities, dinner options, and things to do outside the resort as well (such as visiting the Art Walk). I love that we were able to simply message Rick on WhatsApp in a group chat, for anything we needed. He also helped us contact maintenance and get back into our room when somehow the security latch activated after we exited the room. He went above and beyond in all ways to make our stay great and also was able to perform our check-out and review any additional charges for us. He also helped us book reservations for 4 (with our friends), and accommodate them with luggage pickup too even though he was not assigned to them. The “Club” accessible by people with club level rooms or Globalist status was also great. There were great food options available there most times of the day, and a bar/bartender with higher quality spirits (included) such as Don Julio, which were unavailable or cost extra at other bars on the property. Standout Employees - Rick, our butler. See above. - Amalia was my bartender many times in the Club, and she made cocktails that were much better and balanced than other bars around the property! - Lizeth was one of the yoga/fitness instructors that was amazing. Activities & Food - There are many planned activities to enjoy, and you can find out what is going on at any time on their mobile website. The circus show in particular had great performers. - Food overall was pretty good. The steakhouse and taco Tuesday in particular were very good. The breakfast buffet had a wide array of options, and the adult pool had great tacos to snack on. - The skirt steak in particular which was readily available in the club was also really good. - The onsite Amstar desk and reps were good for booking excursions off property Service - Overall, service from check-in, butlers, concierge etc. was excellent. - Poolside food/drink service was a little less frequent than I would like, not sure if staffing was reduced a little since the week I went was lower occupancy in early December. I think it could be improved if the mobile servers “checked in” a little more frequently if they see a drink empty. Room - Our room was 3637 which was an upgraded suite. It was huge, with a 6 person dining table, living room, separate bathroom and bedroom with a direct ocean view. Other - I had to work for 3 of the days at the property sadly, but the WiFi was surprisingly better than expected (100 Mbps down, 20Mbps up) for mobile work. - They have a separate “kids” pool, a kids/teens club, a main pool and an adults-only pool which is great. This helps to have more quiet/adult areas if you want to not hear loud kids for a little. Negatives (fairly minor) - My understanding is that pools and hot tubs are technically open until 11PM, but everything is fairly dark and the pool towels are all taken away at sunset. The hot tubs were also barely luke warm, and not hot at all which was disappointing. - I wish the suite doors had a door sweeps installed. There is quite a large gap underneath and the room hallways are outdoor, so something could crawl in if it wanted. Luckily, no large bugs came in the room. - The suite balcony doors do not have screens, so you can’t leave them open without risk of mosquitos or something flying in, in the evenings. - Our friend’s had an issue with the Overall - very good all inclusive resort, I would consider staying again. Some of the staff members really stood out, and the property is quite large with a lot of options.

The staff at the Hyatt Ziva are top notch! We had a beautiful room with a suite which provided us with the butler service. Ricardo was assigned to treated us like royalty. He was very efficient and helpful. All of the staff around the pool are very service oriented and gracious. We had an extra special experience with Ivan as we rented a cabana to celebrate my birthday. He was amazing! Our room was lovely and kept in perfect condition by our Housekeeper Aura. We had a wonderful experience at the seafood restaurant, and Carlos was our waiter that day. The check-in staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Pedro was extremely accommodating as we checked into the hotel. Also, the bellmen staff are outstanding. Antonio, Genaro & Mauricio were gracious & helpful. We also enjoyed the new gym that they have built since we were last there. The staff was very friendly and the equipment, extremely clean and functional. Already planning on going back next year!

Great place if you have children with you. There many many children and they seemed to enjoy the hotel. There were babies there that were so young I thought that there may be a birthing pool somewhere. Dinners are spent with crying children and pool time with splashes. Great for families but not for us. However that is on us for not investigating that aspect before we booked. The hotel is really wonderful and the staff is what makes it so wonderful. Accommodating and lovely to a person.

Had a great time! We upgraded to a club room and it was great to have the concierge service through Whatsapp. Ricardo helped book restaurants and expedited any issues that we had. Restaurants were very good, lunch buffet had a large selection but didn't change too much day to day so when we got sick of it we went to the restaurant for lunch. Thank you!

This was a 4th trip to Hyatt Ziva Cabo and it now feels like "home". Jorge, our pool waiter all week, was spectacular, anticipating our needs throughout the week. Every person working at Hyatt Ziva do so much to insure you have a great time. The addition of the Indian restaurant was a great one. Try the Butter Chicken! All of our meals were great and the staff at each restaurant were quick to make sure our needs were met. Thank you Hyatt Ziva for a wonderful week!

This place is fantastic! Conveniently located close to the airport, it’s perfect for travelers. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you’ll never run out of dining options. The amenities are top-notch, making it an excellent choice for families. They even have a dedicated kids’ area and a pool for the little ones, ensuring everyone has a great time. Highly recommended!

I did my research on TripAdvisor as well as with the help of Gemini and ChatGPT for the best all-inclusive resort in San Jose Del Cabo after having a less-than-stellar stay at another resort in the area last year. All my research pointed to Hyatt Ziva as the best choice, so we booked our stay. Our time there did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay from the moment we stepped out of our airport transfer to the morning we had to say goodbye. Along the way, we were helped with whatever we needed from our gracious butler, Ricardo, who was a fantastic host. Our one-bedroom, ocean-view suite was well-appointed, clean, quiet, and quite luxurious. The bagged snacks, well-stocked beverage fridge, bottle of wine upon arrival, bathrobes, in-room safe, and walk-in shower were all excellent. We received excellent service from Ivan and all the folks at the adult pool and bar/grill. The daily grilled tacos here were fantastic, served with plenty of fresh tortilla chips and guacamole. While I don't consider myself a foodie, finding an all-inclusive resort where the food is not of marginal cafeteria grade is not always easy. I am pleased to say, the dining at the Grill, Italian, Mexican, and Asian restaurants was top-notch. Not blow your head off excellent, but very good. Our room included access to the Club room on level 4, offering a quiet spot for some snacks and a nice cocktail, which we did not expect but very much appreciated. The coffee shop with 24/7 gelato, espresso and pastry was top-notch as well. I indulged in several affagotos. The buffet-style restaurant was also very good, with numerous options from light snacks to hearty meals available at each serving. Sadly, we did not have time to visit the other restaurants on-site, but I'm sure they were equally as impressive.

Cannot wait to go back! Booked a club level swim up suite.. beautiful room beautiful resort. Really enjoyed the beautiful views, the spa, the pickleball court. From Casa Cortez to Dixon to Bon Vivant the food experiences were delicious! Top notch devices with club level booking- encountered lovely staff who were both welcoming and helpful throughout the resort. The location is so close to downtown San Jose which makes this location perfect! Will be back!

We stayed at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos for five days and four nights and had an amazing experience. We were in the brand-new section on the third floor, and the room was beautiful, modern, and extremely comfortable. The dinners were fantastic every night, each restaurant feeling special with great food and service. During the day, the activities and games were a blast. Gissel, the activity director, was incredible—high energy, welcoming, and even surprised us with a small thank-you gift. I also won one of the games, which made it even more fun! We enjoyed water aerobics and cycling with Raul, played on the beach, and loved how much there was to do without ever feeling overwhelmed. The staff truly made this trip special. Highly recommend this resort—we’re already talking about coming back.
