Grand Cayman Marriott Resort

Restaurant at the Marriott Grand in Houston, TX- has tanked. Really bad - when it was the St. Regis it was superb and it was the reason I stayed here. I love the people at this hotel and the wait staff at the hotel are also amazing. Sadly Marriott has taken a Rolls Royce of a restaurant and turned It into a Kia. The Eggs Benedict at this property (when it was the St. Regis) was a top 5 including my travels to 5 star hotels in the US and Europe, Eggs Benedict now is on par with Denny's--cold and tasteless, the hollandaise was goopy and cold, it came with hard eggs, and the muffins were barely toasted and they were doughy and chewy. I decided to give them another shot for lunch, I tried the Caesar Salad with salmon, salad was acceptable but the $18.00 salmon on the salad was inedible, it was chewy, bland and tasteless- I asked then to take if off the bill after one bite and I sent it back- I've never sent anything back at a restaurant in my life. The wait staff is wonderful, really kind and attentive, I hope they get a kitchen that will support them - The restaurant is almost always empty and now I understand why-

The Westin on seven Mile Beach was my husband‘s and my favorite place to travel. Throughout our almost 30 years of marriage we went seven times. Everything is always impeccably clean very well manage and no need goes undressed. This was my first trip back after losing my husband. A.HUGE thank you to Sean Adams from the outdoor bar and Grill. He welcomed me back, and made me feel like family, and I didn’t feel alone

We had a wonderul experience the hotel is amazing with different activities for kids my son had the best experience with JUNITA she is amazing so patient with kids and kind my son Leo loved her sweet personality. Thank you Marriot grand Cayman

Every single thing about our experience at Marriott Resort Grand Cayman was exceptional. Food, service (Elaine!), check in (Jaden!) , bellmen (Gregon!), towels/umbrella, even the onsite store was wonderful. Hands down the best and most upscale Marriott I've stayed, and the price point was perfect. Convenient location on 7Mi Beach, near good restaurants. Our ocean view room was quiet, clean, with great amenities. Activities and evening DJ were great w/o being over the top. Added to a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. 5 stars!

This is a wonderful destination for a relaxing Cayman getaway. We enjoyed the daily activities, particularly the boxing class that was given by Charles. He's incredible and customized our workout to our skillsets. Even if you have never boxed, give it a try! Also recommend the complimentary snorkeling adventure, dining at the Veranda and delving into a great book by the pool.

Ella was amazing and helped me surprise my husband on our anniversary with an upgraded room. She was awesome! Thank you for making our stay so awesome!

Just about to finish up our 5 night stay at The Marriott Resort Grand Cayman - Summer House. Wonderful time at a clean, friendly and perfect location on the island. As some may know, the Marriott lost the vast majority of their beach due to hurricane years back. I am told that the government along with the Marriott are co-funding a beach re-nourishment project sometime in early June that will last into September. This project will bring back a significant amount of beachfront to the Marriott and make this location that much more enjoyable. Most importantly I want to call out our primary server at the pool/beach, Sid. Sid is one of the most customer first employees that my wife and family have ever had the opportunity to experience. We had stayed here at the Marriott a year or so ago and when we arrived at the pool area on our first day, Sid spotted us and came right over to say hello and welcome us back. He then continued to take amazing care of us throughout our stay, anticipating our needs without us even having to ask. I suppose the biggest compliment I could give Sid is that he is simply a genuine human being and someone I would enjoy hanging out with and calling him a friend of the family. Sid clearly sets the bar high for others to aspire to be like! Hope you Enjoy the Marriott !
