Stay Express Inn Near Ft. Sam Houston

The parking lot was full of people smoking weed and drinking alcohol and being loud, not very family friendly, left without even requesting a refund because the location was just that bad, didn’t want to deal with it and booked at another hotel.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. It's an older establishment so there wasn't any extras. It was a great price compared to other options I could have stayed.

It's ok.. is not the best one..

The only thing we liked about this property wss that it was close to where we needed to be. Location... that is all.

No heat, no electricity in the house for 36 hours during the Freeze of Feb 2021 but Stay Express on Austin Highway had electricity. Angie said she had a room but water pipe burst because of freezing and plumber working on it. Once fixed she called me back because she saved the last room unoccupied for me. That is outstanding customer service and gracious kindness. Did not use the room because roads too dangerous to drive but Angie’s thoughtfulness and caring was wonderful.

The weather was very bad and I had to get off road .,,, I didn’t stay the whole night felt unsafe

A little outdated but it was clean and the staff was nice and friendly it was a last minute book 2 night stay overall the stay was good

The staff was nice and plus everything's around here so you got shopping Foods different type of atmosphere drink some pretty much of a variety of everything here so you can't miss out

I never see the brakefast room front desk impression dirty mess everywhere poor cleaning The pillows stinks

One bed was broken in our room and the toilet wobbled when we sat on it...
