Stay Express Inn Near Ft. Sam Houston

Very dark in room but bed are comfortable vs motel 6. House keepers are very nice and fast checkin

This place was expensive as other hotels that are 10x better. The hot water doesn’t work, it’s constantly cold. There was gooey sticky stuff all over the nightstand when I arrived. One night I came back to the hotel and there were 10 cop cars outside. I just got this hotel because the other hotels were booked, but honestly I would’ve rather stayed in my car.

It was a good hotel for the price.

Went cheap and got exactly what I payed for. Almost 0 amenities. The receptionist could not find my reservation. Room old and outdated. The restroom was in such bad condition I didn’t even shower.

Wow! (not in a good way.) I was travelling with 2 kids. We were having trouble finding anywhere to stay. Finally we secured a reservation for this room, very late and had to drive another 2 hours to get there. We arrived at 3:10 AM to find a sign on the door saying to use the night window as the door was locked. There was a sign between the door and window all lit up saying OPEN. The reception area was all lit up and I rang the bell 5 times and could hear it. Nobody came. Staff from Hotels.com called numerous times and there was never any answer. Brutal!

This is 30 dollar motel I paid 80 each room which was two rooms two nights it just wasn't worth it plus wen I was on the toilet a roach crawled across the floor waiving at me never will even use Expedia

I was most grateful that it has no carpet it felt like a breath of fresh air again be able to stay at a hotel that at the very least could keep that clean fresh scent.

great place and location...near lots of local restaurants and shops

Breakfast was too early

Was not in a good area and rooms looked in bad shape. Door did not have locks on inside
