room was a few yards from the A1 with a window that i could not close.

Room number 6 had the best bathroom ever. Nice big bath for me and the missus to share at once. Very nice room too boot

Car park included litter and used mattresses lying about. Reception unattended and required a hone call. Room exceptionally basic and tired. Limited in room lighting, except the door has an opaque glass panel so light from outside shone in ll night.

All the hotel room doors have a huge frosted glass panel looking into a very bright courtyard that has very bright lights on all night until the morning sun has risen so your room is always light as everything is in the ground floor. Bed was fine, there was a heater and a telly in the room which were both okay. Bathroom door was just strange and very old with a rotting wooden window frame to the outside. Overall not terrible for the price but probably wouldn’t stop again as I need a dark room to sleep

Dreadful customer service. Unfortunately my plans changed and I had to adjust the booking. I Couldn’t get through to the hotel and the call centre was useless, couldn’t hear what they were saying and they were clueless and impolite. Was told to visit the website but it didn’t work. Went back to the phone and they told me to try again, which I did and still nothing. Customer service put the phone down on me. Based on my experience with them and wouldn’t want to book any of their hotels again

Absolutely disgusting, place needs demolishing. Smelt extremely bad, dirty and falling to bits. Tried to get a refund and neither hotels.com or the hotel would refund the stay. The place was so bad we couldn’t stay. Waste of money, hotels.com absolutely useless!

Arrived to find no one on reception with the doors locked. The mobile number to call was going straight to voice mail. Left a voice mail but still a day later no one has come back to me. Called Expedia and they tried to get in touch but with no luck. Was outside the property for just over an hour, called Expedia again who were helpful to be fair and processed a refund, but I then had to try and find another hotel in the area at gone 6pm. I was in the area staying over for work and was looking forward to having a relaxing stay before my meetings the next morning. Safe to say it wasn’t that relaxing. Avoid at all costs, happy to take your money but no one there to let you in, despite a note on reception stating that the reception is manned from 8am-8pm

After all a decent place, safe and quiet. And ill be coming back if working in the area

Place might not be perfect but i liked it. Definetly coming back if working round here again.
