White House Napa

Insanely beautiful and quaint stay just off of downtown Napa. This Inn was a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of life; enjoy the comforts of Northern California and be minutes away from the delicacies of the Napa Vineyards. Simply perfection!

We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it here at the White House Inn. Very relaxing plus we had a shared big balcony to enjoy mornings and evenings. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast and the wine in the evening. The pool and spa area was beautifully decorated and landscaped, and had a very relaxing vibe to it. Whole structure is beautiful inside and out. Quick couple block walk to downtown area with all the restaurants and tasting rooms. Would stay here again

We had problems checking in, because we didn't receive instructions we were supposed to receive. The hotel doesn't have a front-desk and guests need to receive a passcode to enter the lobby and the room. We called the phone number posted by the hotel for help; the guy downright refused to help us and was rude as if it were all our mistakes for not receiving the email. This experience is eye-opening, as a Platinum member both on Expedia and Marriott Bonvoy. In other aspects, the room is nicely featured and clean. The management needs to use more care about check-in process after hours and their staff.

Immaculately clean, so close to downtown, very friendly staff, beautiful pool and hot tub area ...and very very comfy bed and a chest stocked with wine, cheese and crackers, assorted beverages and coffee maker and soacious bathroom with large step in shower

The stay itself was fine. The staff were friendly and the room was nice enough. The main problem was that the charge that showed up on my credit card did not match the hotels.com receipt. They promised to send a final receipt via email but never did. I left 4 voicemails (because no one ever answers the phone) and sent one email asking for an explanation and not one was returned. I had no choice but to put a hold on the charge through the credit card company and still waiting to hear. Extremely disappointing to say the least.

Loved everything about our stay! The location was perfect and the staff was wonderful! Amazing breakfast included. And the wine and cheese hour was great as well. Loved using the hot tub. Minutes from downtown Napa. 5 stars! Rooms are cozy and they also have bikes for guests to use!

Loved the room, it was so cute. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help you. Location was excellent, 5 min walk to downtown.

Maybe a run down of the how house cleaning works, we missed on the check in text that you have to let them know the day before whether you wanted your room cleaned.

My husband and I stayed at White House Inn for 4 days, as a treat for me during some difficult hospital appointments. The photos looked lovely but sadly our stay was spoiled by non-existent housekeeping, dreadful breakfasts and very poor customer service. On arrival, we were asked if we would like housekeeping for our stay, but this never materialized. I complained twice and, on our last day, we did get a few extra towels, some shower gel and our room was tidied. They state breakfast is until 9.30 am, but the 1st morning there was nothing left at 9:00 am, the dining room was a shambles with dirty dishes everywhere and no clean tables. When I asked the staff if they could replenish the food, they were rude and unhelpful. It was the same the 2nd morning. There was no coffee and the espresso machine was not working, the food had nearly all gone and the tables were left with dirty dishes everywhere. Only on our last day was any breakfast available. Finally, on our last night, the piped music in the lobby was left on all night and I could not find anyone to help turn it off. I spoke with a member of staff about all this, and she advised me to email the hotel. I did this but nobody has replied to my email. I have also telephoned the hotel twice but have not been able to get through. I feel so disappointed, that I had to write this. I would definitely not stay there again; their customer service is awful and I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing break.

I recently stayed at the White House Hotel in Napa Valley, and it was a blast. The hotel’s historic vibe and cozy decor perfectly compliment its chill vineyard setting, making it a great place to unwind. My room was nicely furnished and offered a comfy spot to relax with some nice views. The service was really top-notch; the staff were super friendly and helped out with local tips and stuff. The on-site restaurant had some good food, though I think the menu could have used a few more choices.The amenities, the pretty garden and comfy lounge areas, made the stay even better. If you’re after a laid-back getaway in Napa Valley, the White House is definitely worth checking out.
