A modern hotel (in administration) on an industrial park in Nottingham. What makes this hotel stand out is the "Basil Fawlty approach" by some of the management team, who prefer to be confrontational rather welcoming. Beds are rock hard, carpets in bedroom thread bear and appears to be bereft of guests and generally an all round cold feeling. Only positive was the amazing club sandwich, alas, that alone will not be enough to encourage me to return.

The hotel has some attractive decor and the room looked nice at first glance, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. Some of the interiors felt worn and there was a noticeable smell in parts of the carpeted areas. Reception service was very slow, often seeming understaffed. The biggest issue was comfort — the mattress was extremely hard and made for a very poor night’s sleep. The room was also cold, and despite raising this, we were told the heating system was old and could not be adjusted, which was unacceptable. Breakfast was another major letdown. We had paid extra for breakfast, only to be told in the morning there was no chef available, so only a very limited cold selection was offered. Options were minimal: white bread, mini cereal boxes, a few pastries, and very limited coffee choices. It did not feel worth paying for. The room amenities were very basic — just a kettle, shower gel and towels, with none of the little extras you might expect. Overall, while the hotel has some charm visually, the poor sleep quality, lack of heating, disappointing breakfast and weak service meant I would not choose to stay here again. Not value for money waste of a stay

Diabolical service being charged for 2 rooms instead of 1 with a GM that couldn't care less. No wonder this hotel is in administration.

It did look a bit tired in places with worn flooring etc
