Trailborn Jackson Hole

Our stay at Snow King Resort Hotel was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience. We experienced poor management, unhelpful staff, and numerous organizational failures. The issues began even before arrival with confusion and lack of communication between the hotel and event organizers. Upon check-in, problems with room allocation, cleanliness, and responsiveness added to the negative experience. Staff often appeared indifferent or dismissive when concerns were raised. The rooms were outdated and poorly maintained, with malfunctioning bathroom facilities. Throughout our stay, housekeeping never serviced the room — the bins were left full, and the beds were not made. During meal times, staff seemed eager to move us along rather than accommodate us. Breakfast was chaotic, offering only coffee or tap water to drink and a very limited, unhealthy selection of food. Dinner was adequate, but prices throughout the hotel were exceptionally high. The pool area was worn and not properly cleaned, and no bathrobes were provided in the rooms. Overall, the staff’s attitude made us feel unwelcome and as though our presence was an inconvenience Despite the scenic location and the efforts of external people not belonging to the hotel, the overall experience was unprofessional, leaving us dissatisfied and unwilling to recommend the hotel.

Great location! The rooms were nice and the balcony looked out into the town of Jackson as well as the ski mountain next to the resort. The restaurant on site also has great views! Room included robes, has a mini fridge, and more.

The TV in the main room wasn't available for the duration of the entire stay. There were three trips by Hotel maintenance and one from the cable man on the morning of checkout. I had planned to have breakfast before the flight but due to the cable man insisting he needed to come in, 3 hours before checkout, I had to rush and skip the breakfast, which was the best part of the stay.

Hotel is conveniently located away from the crowded downtown area. Friendly staff, big rooms and a good value. However…housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. We were there for seven nights and they never made the beds, changed the sheets, or cleaned the bathroom. We had to ask the front desk for bath linens and trash pickup on day three. After that we got new wash cloths, bath mats and our trash picked up…that was it. It’s a shame, otherwise we enjoyed the hotel and loved the spa.

Although most of hotels at Jackson Hole are expensive, this one does not deserve an average of 450$/night . The only good thing here is the clean room. The facility is very bad, the front desk even doesn't know where to get me hot water. I found the water fountain by the restroom accidentally by myself. There is even no microwave oven and boiler in the room. Front desk is also not well trained.

Our stay at Snow King Resort was extremely disappointing. The staff was consistently unhelpful and dismissive, making us feel like we were bothering them with even simple questions. Housekeeping was unreliable—we had to call daily to request service, and even then, our room was left dirty. The worst part came after we checked out: we accidentally left items in our room and called immediately, only to be told repeatedly that housekeeping would “check” and someone would call us back. No one ever did. After a week of daily calls, I asked for a manager and was hung up on—twice. This lack of professionalism and basic hospitality was shocking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Our King room with patio and scenic view was a disappointment. The patio could barely fit 2 people and the view was of the parking lot and far from scenic. Also, I asked for a room far from the elevator at check-in and was told the room was down the hall and not near the elevator. In fact, our room was directly across from the elevator. Employee just lied. I asked twice to speak to the manager about switching rooms and left my phone number on two separate days and never received a call or acknowledgement of my concerns. The room was quiet and clean, and the only occasional disturbance was headlights from the parking lot. I wouldn’t return there again for a stay.

Under NO circumstances whatsoever would I recommend staying at Snow King condos. Our experience at Snow King was stressful and far from the luxury vacation advertised. We rented through Leave Home (never again) and the two will just go back and forth and decide that it's fine to treat guests like garbage. You will still pay full price despite terrible service, and they will make no effort to make it right (other than in insincere apology on google reviews, apparently) despite acknowledging that some of us will have worse experiences because of their staffing and communication issues. Apparently they think it is appropriate for the resort to use your personal information - phone number, name, where you are staying and allow someone to call and ask if they can show the place to potential buyers while you are there. They will pressure you while saying you have the right to say no. I also have the right to be left alone and know that my privacy will be respected. What was supposed to be luxurious and relaxing was instead cabinets full of dirty dishes, trash from previous guests, no linens for the fold out couch, no blankets, a broken coffee maker, poorly stocked kitchen, and call after call trying to fix things for my guests inatead of spending quality time with them. They finally threw a trashbag of linens in the front door after entering unannounced. (though they clearly have my number and no issues calling it otherwise). After several guests woke up chilly overnight and dug through closets unable to find any blankets, we had plans for a nice breakfast at the condo with some warm coffee. After hand washing the previous guests' dirty plates, we still ended up needing to go into town for coffee because over 2.5 hours later they had not brought a new machine or even k cups for the Keurig that did work. At a minimum they could have paid back the $50 to buy coffee in Jackson. Snow King will make no effort to make it right financially or even give an apology. Snow King will lie to you (and your third party renter if you used one) and say they responded immediately. Based on my experience, I'm expecting a response to this stating everything was rectified immediately. They lie, 8 of us are aware of the actual response times and the actual handling of it. Also it's still not too late to finally contact me (you have my number) to discuss.
