Love the history

Fantastisk følelse af at være i en virkelig gammel bygning. Bygningen er mere end 400 år gammel og der er gjort meget for at man kan se bjælkerne og få fornemmelse af historien.

Vedligeholdelsen kunne være bedre. Især brusebadet var slidt og gammelt, men det virkede ok.

Perfect location, stunning property, really friendly staff who made you feel very welcome

Location - in city centre. Quiet. Helpful staff. Easy check in. Reasonable breakfast at a good price. Satisfactory single room with clean an comfortable bed.

Dirty windows. Outside door often left open making lobby cold.

Clean linen and towels. Historic building

Ghost hunting tours round the property were very disconcerting for guests with a nervous disposition. Very noisy for the majority of the night from night club opposite lot of shouting. . Room was draughty and only Luke warm water

The old fashioned style

An interesting period property.

The High Street location, opposite a night club and a bar, meant excessive noise, loud music and crowds until 2 am and constant noise from revellers went on until 5 am. The bedroom window overlooking this is single glazed, installing secondary double glazing might help, but having had almost no sleep, I would not book a room overlooking the front of the property again.
