George Hotel, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent

Okay where do you begin some of the staff that was working there were fine, other than that it’s a youth hostel with homeless people live in there outside smoking drugs ect rooms with very very dated dirty And people playing music 1 o’clock in the morning fighting the corridors at 3 o’clock in the morning will not be staying here again in fact we still have one more night that we are not going back and then having the night porter shoulder barge in the room door trying to get in in the middle of the night not good

Lasted one night and checked out due to someone smashing his way out of his bedroom window at 6 am went downstairs and had someone sleeping on a settee with a duvet on made it so we didn’t feel safe at all

Very helpful staff, easy to check in. Clean room. Overall decent hotel and very happy with the service received.

Basic but clean, warm and very helpful and friendly staff.

Hot water didn’t work bath had dirt in and beds are very uncomfortable

The hotel was shut down. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Can't comment on comfort etc as we were unable to stay. The hotel had closed down without telling anyone and left us 100miles from home with two tired and hungry children with no where to stay.

Hotel and area is an absolute dump Rooms are basic and freezing until 6pm Wardrobes have no hangers and no other storage available Windows are draughty and some don't close properly. Road and heating when on is noisy TVs do not have a remote. Staff didn't give a damn about finding a heater or remote

Wouldn’t stop there again no shower head on the shower water wasn’t even hot in the bath and would not replenish the tea or coffee

Staff was friendly made to feel welcomed but i few issues the toilet lid fell off in my wifes hands empty loo roll dirty cups in our room and mold and damp in the corner of the room near the bay doors clearly a leak in that part of the room h and no remote for the tv
