BlueBay Lanzarote

Location was good walkable distance to beach, also great cycle, scooter, wheelchair access. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and areas around the hotel tidy and well maintained. Different entertainment every night. I found eating vegetarian options more difficult at lunch and tea. Rooms a little tired but ours was spacious with a balcony, area quiet to sleep in. Restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Buses and taxis available

Good hotel for the price entertainment was poor but the trio was the best of a bad bunch Room basic but sufficient and beds comfortable Entertainment gang did well with the limited resources at their disposal and were very friendly Food was to a good standard with something for all tastes and plenty of it There was a good sports bar just around the corner with cheap beer and all the football on

Just returned after a week's nice break. The weather was mixed to start with but after a couple of days it was daily sunshine. The room was fine for what we were looking for, the pool area was more tham ample with a nice bar however the poolbar food was a bit iffy with burgers & hotdogs looking more boiled than cooked. The main restaurant was really nice with the staff very accommodating & friendly. Very well organised. As it was my partners 60th birthday i asked if I could put a banner & balloons up for her, not a problem as they let me in beforehand & made her feel looked after. The champagne was a great touch. No issues with this hotel

hi everyone. here is my honest opinion about Bluebay Hotel lanzarote. We went all inclusive for a week on Monday 26th of January. Yes the hotel is definately in need of a refurb i hope they sort this out soon not nice seeing paint peeling of the wall and cracked tiles on the floor. i could not fault the staff and some were very helpful especially the reception staff. The maids unfortunately are not the best when it came to cleaning the rooms (quick mop and they were gone), food was plentyfull and a good choice for even those who are fussy. pool very very cold not sure if this improves more in the summer.Entertainment team tried really hard to get people involved in all the activities. We went to Arrecefi for the day really good,big shopping mall with the likes of primark, jd, zara. We also went to puerto del carmen on the bus, full of bars, shops and plenty of resturants. Bus cost 3 euros per person, taxi costs a little bit more. As for the weather is was not the best ,alot of overcast clouds and spots of rain, advised to bring a warm jacket/hoody or cardigan. we did get some sunshine out of the 7 days we got 3 days which was really hot. As read in a review before going yes there are ants in the room advise not to leave anything sweet on the sides as it will get covered in ants. They do provide ant spray for you in your room. Overall a good holiday was had by my family and would definately return if the refurbishment takes place. Hope this information helps anyone looking to book this hotel. Happy holidays. Yvonne M

We have visited this hotel 9 times and never been disappointed this visit was a last minute booking it was my birthday when we were there and had a lovely card from them this hotel is my choice of a winter break staff very good work hard and happy with it room was spotless garden well kept and the food was lovely will definitely return thank you blue bay for a lovely hotel

We have just returned from our second visit. We asked for a certain room and were given that. The staff are friendly and work hard. Good service for meals. You are greeted and taken to a table instead of wondering round. 2 areas to sit in evening, one quiet and one with entertainment. Not far from beach and promenade, great for walking. Bluebay is a 3 star hotel and although it could do with some work we had a good value holiday for what we paid. Would definitely consider returning next January.

Was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but it hasn’t disappointed so far as I’m writing this review whilst still here. Decided on this hotel for our mini winter break. Location good about 15 mins walk to beach restaurants and shops ( tobacco shop just down the road if needed) Bar is good Amstel soft drinks and hot drink self serve. Entertainment in the theatre bar is good at 930pm Pool a good size plenty of beds available Food is very good breakfast 8am-1030 with everything you could want even black pudding never had on holiday before so please yum😄 Lunch 13:00- 15:00 Dinner 18:30-21:15 very nice plenty of choice salads meats seafood and pasta salads all very tasty. Snack bar 10:30-17:30 self serve hotdogs burgers chips toastie pasta fresh salads and sweet treats always stocked up nice and fresh. Rooms a good size kitchenette with kettle large tv in living room this is limited to English channels but number 27 31 and 32 are English. Yes other reviews say it’s a bit dated and could do with an upgrade I agree but this said,it isn’t spoilting our holiday at all please be aware there are no lifts it’s only 3 floors high but if you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor last but not least the staff are lovely as well. We are definitely enjoying our holiday so far. would I recommend and return back to this hotel yes I would

Just got back and agree with all the positive reviews. Its a 3 star so what do you expect? We have been on a lot of holidays but never go to hotel twice, however we were at this hotel in 2018. The rooms do need a spruce up but we sleep and shower in it as out rest of day. Huge balcony with a partial sea view. We were c303. Bedroom overlooked pool. Powerful shower and towels only changed every 3 days but not an issue. Food amazing. So much choice and tasty. Snacks at the pool bar if you would rather. Self pour beer and soft drinks at pool bar.Soraya was so lovely in the restaurant. Always greeted us genuinely. Like how you get shown to a table each meal time so you never struggle to find one. If you like a large cuppa in morning, take your own mugs as cups tiny. Cant check in til 3pm so be mindful and pack bikini and shorts to change into. We had morning flight 8am so at hotel around 1.45pm. Quick change and by pool by 2pm. Entertainment on an evening but its not great in my opinion, however better to have something than nothing. Location great. 5 mins to beach and 15 to square where loads of pubs and restaurants. Im a firm believer, you get what pay for and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Thank you to all of the staff that work so hard.

Just got back after spending a week at Bluebay. Hotel is very nice, a bit tired in places but very comfortable. The staff are lovely, very welcoming. My husband enjoyed the food but I struggled being a vegan. Not much to choose from.
