Sirios Village Hotel & Bungalows - All Inclusive

Nice location, good food. However, we found one annoying problem it is definitely not worth going all inclusive, because the drinks were very poor. You cannot get non alcoholic cocktails or good alcoholic cocktails because they do not use proper fruit juice. Instead they use ghastly orange squash that is disgusting. All inclusive is very limited for example no carte d'or ice cream until after 4 PM also the bar charges for hot drinks even if you are all inclusive. We should have gone half board as paying the extra for all inclusive is a definite waste of money.

Really nice hotel, clean and staff was really friendly. Food was good, every dinner had different theme. I can recommend.

Perfect to stay here with childeren. Clean, nice poolerea and good entertainment. The circusshow and the magicshow were amazing. Relaxing and a good variety of food and drinks. Nice staff that did a great job ceeping ecerything nice and tidy. Easy to go to Chania old town with bus. Short walk to an amazing beach. The rooms were quiet, clean and Nice. We had a perfekt week.

Very family-friendly, clean and nice hotel. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The kids loved the kids Club and the lovely staff there.

The accommodation we had was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. The food for an all inclusive was generally good, though a greater selection of coffees e.g. iced coffees being included would have made it better. The accommodation is well placed for bus transport into Chania and local beaches. The only reason for not rating higher than a 3 overall was the lack of anywhere quiet outside as a couple to relax. The accommodation was generally very busy with families despite traveling outside of the peak season. Areas advertised as adult only or 12+ were still very busy with children. It's no criticism of the families themselves there was just an absence of space outside (other than our balcony) where we could find both space (the pool area was very busy) and relax in quiet. So if you are travelling without children and looking for this at your accommodation this isn't necessarily the best place for you. For families it looked like a great option with children's club, pools, and evening activities.

Our family had a great stay at Sirios Village. Nice apartments, where the cleaning was done well. The service in the restaurant was pleasant and had a lot of focus on keeping the area tidy and clean. Good and varied food. We were very happy to have chosen All inclusive. We missed more hand disinfection stations in the restaurant. The pool area was great for both children and adults. Nice playground. Nice entertainment for both children and adults. Recommend the place to families with children.

Well run hotel with helpful staff. The rooms were cleaned and new towels added daily. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was clean and fresh. Plenty of sun beds, despite the fact that the best spots were nabbed very early in the morning! This is an ideal hotel for families with young children, although it did sometimes feel as though we were holidaying in a well run crèche. The hotel isn’t near a beach or Chania and the nearest bus stop is down a steep hill. A taxi journey can be €15 to Chania. The bus is €1.20 and they’re every 10 minutes or so, but can be full when they arrive and drive past, and you could be standing throughout the journey. Food is good but not impressive and the drinks as part of the package are limited but ok. Wine, lager, raki, lots of soft drinks, freely available ice cream and popcorn, pizza, fruit and basic cakes always on offer during the day. I would suggest that an improvement to the hotel, for me personally, would be to have one of the 3 pools for adults only.

Great location - near to tavernas, shops, bus stop etc. However we enjoyed the food so much we had no desire to eat out - it was varied, tasty and interesting. The hotel had a calm, relaxed atmosphere with lots of seating areas inside and out so you can easily find a little spot to have some privacy. The staff were attentive but not intrusive although one member of staff clearly took some pleasure in spraying the resident stray cats with cleaning spray to discourage them from being in the dining area; perhaps ushering them away or spraying with water might be more humane. The rooms were great - good beds and all amenities you require including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc and we were also given a bottle of wine and water in the room. To stay at the hotel is expensive but if you were to calculate what you would pay if you ate out three times a day with snacks in-between plus drinks, it is probably very good value overall! It was extremely clean - staff were constantly cleaning the dining and pool areas and we were able to rent pool towels for 2 euros each which was great value. The only comment would be that it would become very wet in the pool toilets and then became very slippery - some sort of non-slip matting or similar would be good. Regarding noise, we chose the hotel in part because we had read that it was quieter and had less of the typical poolside entertainment but towards the end of our stay a Scandanavian tour company arrived and this changed the atmosphere somewhat. Whilst the hotel's kids club staff member carried out activities such that it did not intrude upon the enjoyment of the other guests, the Bravo tours staff adopted rather a different approach, turning the music up unnecessarily high. Given their group was only a proportion of the hotel's residents, this was rather inconsiderate. But otherwise it was quiet and relaxing. The reception team were excellent - nothing was too much trouble, including arranging trips, booking taxis etc etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sirios Village as a place for families, couples; old and young alike and look forward to being able to return one day!

We enjoyed our stay at Sirios village. There were a lot of families and kids which I wish I had realised beforehand but it was ok. The hotel is lovely and clean. The food is ok but repetitive. The 3 daily cocktails 🍸 are good! Not too keen on the beer. Pools are great. Gym is handy. The ice cream and snack bar is brilliant. Enjoyed all the beautiful cats and kittens, wish I could have taken them all with me. The hotel location is good. Nice walk to the beaches. 1 hour walk into Chania or 30 min on bus.

I really enjoyed my stay in Sirios Village. Atmosphere was very nice, cleaning rooms excellent. The hotel is very child-friendly, especially thanks to the Itaka Friends Club and evening attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the chef who prepared the dairy- and gluten-free dessert – chocolate fondant. It was very moving for me <3 Thank you :)
