"Fantastic hotel with fantastic staff"

10.0

Really good to visit this hotel again and again. You can't find anything cleaner than this and with more observant personnel. They are, from top to bottom, always helpful, smiling and doing their best to help whatever problem you might have. Just to mention a few: Nektarios and his staff in the reception, Evi and all other smiling persons in the restaurant, Antonis and Maria in the bar and last but not least the professional staff cleaning our rooms! There is a reason for coming back, thank you so much!

"Great food, lovely place"

10.0

Great food, and the Hotel looks better in real life than in the pictures. We spent some days by the pools, and others at the beautiful beach a short walk away. Easy access to Chania by bus, and I loved my run to the old town (5 km each way). Highly recommended!

"May family holiday"

10.0

I can’t really fault the hotel in terms of service. They really are very efficient, the buffet is always stocked up, the hotel is very clean. Whilst we were there there it rained bring big sand into the pool and across the whole hotel. The staff worked incredibly hard to make sure it was clean and tidy once the sun came out. The hotel staff were friendly and very efficient, the lady in the kids club seemed to really enjoy being around the kids which is lovely to see. The buffet was really excellent, so much choice for my fussy kids. Rooms lovely and spacious. Only slight fault for me was the location didn’t have loads of restaurants within easy walking distance, there were some but it meant walking on busy roads often without pavements and with young kids I found that a bit stressful. But as it’s all inclusive you don’t have to do that. I just like to explore outside of the hotel. Great hotel for families with young kids, I would really recommend it.

"A Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement on the Menu"

8.0

One aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the limited availability of gluten-free options in the restaurant. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I was hoping for a more varied and clearly labeled selection at breakfast and dinner. While the staff did their best to accommodate my dietary needs, the choices were few and felt like an afterthought. A more inclusive approach to dietary restrictions would definitely improve the overall guest experience. Despite this, I would still recommend Sirios Village —especially to travelers not relying on gluten-free meals. With a bit more attention to dietary diversity, this hotel could easily become a top choice for all kinds of guests.

"Sirios Village ruined my birthday trip, It was so bad I changed hotels"

2.0

Extremely rude staff. While we were eating dinner, the restaurant manager began talking about us and pointing to our table to other staff. She then sent waiters over 3 times to ask if we were finished eating which we hadn’t. After that she came over herself and screamed in my face saying we cannot take food away. I also saw flies crawling all over the food in restaurant, I informed one of the waitresses who just fanned away the flies rather than changing the infested food, she then proceeded to leave the contaminated food there for others to eat. I was horrified for the complete lack of concern for general food hygiene standards. This whole experience this was extremely upsetting, the restaurant manager made us feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable the entire time because of the constant stares and this particular horrible experience, alongside many other factors we left immediately and booked another hotel. This hotel is below 4 star standard, it’s closer to a 2.5 start. The hotel is old, dated, dingy and has no privacy. The private pool which we paid extra for was very disappointing because the view was overlooking someone else’s hotel room door opposite, this did not feel very private. The safe in the room did not work unless you paid for it, I have never experienced a hotel where the safe could not be opened for free. The wifi in the room did not work at all, I couldn’t make calls and I was forced to stand outside of my room to do so. The phone in the room was broken when we arrived. The location of our room was right next to a construction sight which was unsightly and on the hotel website you can’t see this from the pictures online, be warned that you will be surrounded by construction and other peoples houses as soon as you step away from the hotel. The hotel did not look anything like the pictures on the website advertised, the photos were very deceptive and I was very disappointed when I first arrived. I booked this trip for my birthday and Sirios Village ruined my trip so much that I decided to move hotels, I am very disappointed about the service and the whole situation. I spoke to the hotel manager Nektarios and he told me he would find out if I could get a refund for the 3 days where I did not stay at the hotel, I have since sent numerous emails and I have completely been ignored. There has been no compensation whatsoever for the for the issues caused and for the terrible service, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.

"Nice hotel but 4.5 out of 5 for me. "

8.0

Stayed for a week with my Wife and 13 year old Son. Had a warm welcome when we arrived at around 1030pm and even though we'd missed dinner they left sandwiches, fruit, pastry and water for us in the fridge. Check in was quick but not much info given, though you do get an email sent to you that links you to a website with all the information about the hotel and surrounding area. We had a room with a swim up pool. Not too much storage in the room for 3 but we managed. The room itself was lovely. The only downside was the patio by the pool didn't get the sun all day, although the pool did. Pool areas were good though we only really stayed by the kids pool. Grounds were really tidy and a nice place to walk around. Staff around most of the day kept on top of the cleanliness and our pool was cleaned every day. We enjoyed the food here, lots of choice without being overwhelming. We enjoyed the different salads and fruits/vegetables. Generally always warm and the staff in the dining room worked tirelessly. Coffee is not the best from the machines though. Snack bar was good, it's not obvious you can ask for a kebab at the counter. Had a few of these and they were great. The only downside for me were the drinks. Wasn't keen on the beer and maybe didn't help it was served in such a small glass. I didn't enjoy the red wine either. The spirits seemed fine but the mixers were terrible, the only diet one was cola and I didn't enjoy this. Drank mostly Ouzo and lemonade during my stay as the Ouzo masked the not so great mixer. The cocktails, which there are 3 of every day, we're pre made in a jug and found these fine but there are only so many sweet cocktails you can stomach! The staff behind the pool bar were great, in particular Antonis, always happy to have a chat and usually had another drink ready for you when you were just about empty. Gym not so great but that is usually the case in hotels. Staff helpful with getting the bus to Chania, which is lovely, but this info is also on the welcome email. The area around the hotel was nice. Walked down to the church on the front and had a couple of drinks out, in particular at Dimitris and Sakis and Piato (great place). Overall the hotel didn't quite hit a 5 for me, more a solid 4.5 but would recommend.

This was our second visit to Sirios Village, it’s the friendliest hotel I’ve had the pleasure to visit. The food is amazing and varied. The rooms are stunning and the staff are very helpful. I am busy booking my next holiday at the moment and it is going to be back at Sirios Village. I have stayed in some lovely hotels in South Africa and many other countries and this hotel is right up there. No complaints whatsoever. I can’t wait for my next trip.
