We always enjoy our stay at the Icona. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Sitting poolside is a delight. Dining experiences are very good too. Whether it’s the Brew Pub or the Sand Bar, each offer their own experience. But above all, we look forward to our mornings spent with Pasquale at the coffee bar. From our first stay Pasquale’s smile and inviting conversations made us feel like we were home with friends. He has become the highlight of our stay at the hotel.
The Icona in Avalon was a dream come true. The lobby and rooms are beautifully appointed, wonderfully comfortable and wholly inviting. The Icona attracts a vibrant, friendly clientele. The Pub food is great and beaches clean, but one of the best features of the hotel is the Starbucks coffee bar attendant - Pasquale - he's amazing. In part a one-man comedian, part counselor; he is genuinely interested in people and it shows. He is a part of so many lives over the 5 years he's been there. He has history, an amazing memory and keeps the lobby lively and high-spirited. Great beaches, great biking, great eating and great shopping in Stone Harbor. Thank you to all for a fabulous get-away.

Felt like visiting the Caribbean without having to fly.
Beautiful hotel, very clean rooms. Pasquale at the coffee bar is so kind and friendly! My Dad even met the owner who was very nice. We will be back again.

Nice hotel but way overpriced
We are a long time visitor to the Icona properties and always have a wonderful time. Pasquale at the Icona Avalon coffee bar is our favorite !
Great Labor Day vacation again this year. Love the staff and especially Pasquale at the coffee bar. He’s always smiling and providing great service.
