Room was right over garbage cans so we heard garbage trucks late at night and early mornings
this is a great place. We have been here numerous times. It is very clean very organized . I really wanna point out the coffee man Pasquale in the morning is fantastic. Just talking to him and getting his product is worth a trip.
This is such a perfect family hotel - easy access to the beach with staff that will set up chairs/umbrellas every day, and a large pool and hot tub that will keep the kids busy all day. The food is great and there are a ton of add'l options at the sister hotel (Windrift) across the street. The people / staff at Icona are great and always looking to solve problems. Pasquale at the cafe is especially warm and welcoming, and makes every morning special. Definitely take a minute to meet him! The rooms are spacious and light - maids do a great job every day. It would be nice to have a bigger closet but that's not a huge deal. 5 starts all around! We've been going for the past 5 years and it's ideal.
Pasquale is the OG. Makes the best americano and brings the energy. Enjoyed chatting with him while the family slept in!

This is our second time staying at ICONA Avalon. It’s perfect for our family…close to the beach, great pool, great food. We’ll definitely be back!
The only thing that made my stay absolutely amazing was that every morning there was a gentleman named Pasquale who worked the coffee bar in the lobby. He was on time opening the bar, kind, courteous and had one of the most amazing personalities I've ever come across. I had to work every morning on my laptop, and he made it a lot easier to get my day started. Simply the best!! 5-star Pasquale!! Thank you so much. Great meeting you!! I'll be back sooner rather than later.
Great location and beautiful hotel!
Great overall beach resort with convenient access to the pool and beach. The waitstaff at the pool were great and Pasquale at the coffee bar was always a friendly person to greet guests in the morning. This was our 3rd annual trip to ICONA and I look forward to returning
