Clean, well maintained, staff was excellent. Wi-Fi was terrible, halls were noisy, outside room noise on street side was bad, and there was a constant whistling of air conditioning.
Great location
USThis was our 2nd visit to Icona Resorts. First time was Diamond Beach, second time Avalon.Both resorts are absolutely beautiful. Icona provides luxury to a beach vacation. Beautiful clean rooms, comfortable bedding. Everything you need in the kitchenette. We enjoyed breakfast in the Brew Pub and returned one evening for dinner. Both meals were delicious and our server was lovely. We're looking forward to returning to Icona Diamond Beach in June for our Anniversary celebration. We'll always return to Icona Resorts when heading "down the shore."

We stayed at Icona Avalon for 3 days. This is a fantastic resort! Excellent location with all you could possibly want; beach, pool, hot tub, spa, gym and a 5 ⭐️ staff! It doesn’t get any better than this. Pasquale in coffee bar is like Family! 5 ⭐️!
The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and attractive. The food was amazing, and the wedding of our grandson on the beautiful beach at Icona was unforgettable. The beach had been decorated with a display of flowers. We will always remember our stay at Icona and hope to return someday soon.
CAThe ICONA Avalon is a lovely hotel situated right on a pristine beach. During our stay we were warmly greeted by AGM, Brian Gohean. He was always available to meet and even surpass our needs. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated, the bathrooms are very in keeping with today's tastes and the king-sized bed was beyond comfortable! We enjoyed the restaurant offerings and I would especially recommend the cheesesteak egg rolls, the blackened chicken wrap and, for breakfast, the fresh fruit bowl and asparagus omelet. Sue Ryan was our very professional server. I most certainly recommend the Avalon.
The best part of our stay was the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the sunrise. The hotel and guest room were extremely clean. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. We would definitely stay at the Icona in Avalon, NJ again.
This past weekend was my niece's wedding. This place is beautiful. The attention to detail is second to none. The food at the wedding was so tasty and prepared exceptionally well. The after-party was held at the sandbar. If you are looking for a great place to cap off your night, this place is the right place for you. In the morning, they have a wonderful coffee bar. Pasquale is the gentleman working the coffee bar. Pasquale's charm and warmth start your day off right.
We hosted our daughter's wedding this past weekend at ICONA Avalon. They did a wonderful job, and we can't thank them enough for the spectacular food, service and overall experience. We especially want to thank Courtney & Kait for their exceptional attention to detail allowing us to enjoy the wedding without any worries.
