GrandStay Hotel & Suites Becker Big Lake

My 2 night stay was ok. Hotel is very dated and could use some updates. The sofa bed and desk chair were stained and pretty gross looking. Bed was ok and pretty comfortable. Bathroom was clean. I stayed her once maybe 12 years ago and it looks like not much has been updated and is pretty worn. Did not use the breakfast room, so no comment about that. Front desk staff was friendly.

If new hotel was for local farm hands, would not stayed here. Nothing against farm hands, but room next to laundry and ice machine. Constantly running. People sitting on floor in hallways. Different language. Said gave aARP rate - not. Bed was like a bowl. Get in on edge and roll to middle of mattress. Slept on couch. Never again

Booked a room with a King bed and a sleeper sofa. Arrived to a very surly desk clerk who explained to me that it was my fault the room didn't have a sleeper sofa because I didn't call the hotel. Common areas were generally dirty and in disrepair. Asked if we could have a cot and was told it probably wouldn't fit and we would be charged for it. Terrible experience. Had to drive back home.

Clean Hotel, Quality Guests, Decent Price, Excellent Service

It is very noisy and the hotel and our room smelled terrible. This hotel is very outdated. Many of the guests must stay here for extended stays for work and doors are propped and they hung out in the hallways. It’s very noisy

Absolutely wonderful hotel and staff! Extremely clean and a wonderful breakfast! And absolutely love all the staff members thank you for a wonderful experience on my birthday! I will continue to book rooms with Becker GrandStay Hotel!!!

Older hotel but kept clean and functional. Staff was great! Would stay again if traveling through.

Room smelled like dog pee and cigarettes and was very humid and musty. No other rooms available there so we ended up having to drive 40 minutes out of town to the closest hotel with rooms (cost an extra $200 for the weekend.) front desk did refund the room but we were stuck paying more elsewhere and had the added stress of finding a new room at 7pm that day.
