Inn at Schoolhouse Creek

Great jumping off point for visiting Mendocino and the surrounding area. Good value for a pricey region. We didn’t cook, but could have done basic meal prep if we stayed longer. Quiet, private spot. Easy check-in and communications.

Location was away from central and it was very quiet. It looked exactly like in pics.

Real, full-sized coffee pot, coffee to brew and creamer cups. Nice old-school vibe, beautiful wooden ceiling. The wine was a hospitable touch even though we don't drink wine and left it there.

The balcony door was loud to open. It would be better to have more privacy between balconies. We could hear our neighbors talking through our wall.

The rooms were very clean and well provided with towels, coffee, items for my dog, and even wine. The location was super close to mendocino and had a wonderful porch with views of the ocean. Excellent value and we will be staying here the next time we visit mendocino.

The location is 3/4 miles from Mendocino. I was doing business in the area for a few days.I received a discounted rate from Trivago so I stayed there. The cottage was worn but fair for the discounted rate. I would stay there again if I received the discounted room rate.

Serene private place, love the way the rooms are separate buildings and offer a variety or amenities such as a private hot tub inside its own enclosure with a roof top deck looking over the ocean. Only five minutes from a little town and about 10 minutes from a bigger town if you need anything, but it feels like you’re in a world of it’s own disconnected from this busy world. Would love to come back.
