Was really looking forward to staying at this hotel as it's looks really good in the photos however it's incredibly dark and dingy the rooms are old fashioned and in need of updating also are grubby and windows dirty i just wish i could find all positives for this hotel unfortunately not for us😌

The hotel for us was in a great location - close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The pools are the stand out feature of this hotel - one very pretty pool that winds its way round a “ tropical rainforest “, another warm pool for messing around in and a rooftop pool to watch the sunset. Room was large, storage limited but there was a big settee to put stuff on. We didn’t stay in the room so not an issue. Breakfast was a mix of western and Thai food with a reasonable amount of choice. Would definitely recommend and will probably return.

We recommend paying the extra for the pool access room which was nice. The pool is massive though on the cooler side compared to other pools in Thailand. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated. There are many food options nearby and the buffet breakfast was fine.

Incredible holiday with family and friends. Cannot fault the hotel, we booked adjourning swim up rooms and they were perfect and authentically decorated. The staff were all Incredibly accommodating and always so welcoming and polite. The choice of pools couldn't have been any better, a roof top pool and bar with beautiful views, then a swim up lazy river style pool perfect for a float around, kids especially loved the waterfall feature. Another large pool that's always lovely and warm again with a swim up bar serving drinks, food and ice creams. They have 3 small pools one roof top, 2 in the main areas great for the little tots. The location is perfect it's set back off the main road and both left and right of the hotel is a fantastic selection of restaurants, stalls, street vendors, 7/11 and markets. The beach is a short 5 min walk away, byt the hotel also offer a shuttle service, it's clear waters and very warm our kids said it was like a bath. The food and drinks in the area were fantastic and as a family of 5 a meal out was rarely over £20 for the entire family drinks and food included. The hotel is central for all trips we used the hotel trip organiser for trips to Similian Islands, Phi Phi Islands, Elephant Sanctury and our friends the Big Buddha. Couldn't reccomend her highly enough always gave great prices and fantastic service. There is a great restaurant on the beach front that serves both Thai and western foods and has a fire show on the beach at 9pm 3 nights a week definitely worth checking out. Kata walking street market is a ten min walk of the hotel great experience and lots of tasty food available. Don't be put off eating in the markets we can honestly say some of the tastiest food we had eaten ! Overall the hotel was over and above what we had hoped for. So much so we are booking it for our parents for 2026 and hopefully ourselves too !

Our 5th stay here was as good, or better, than the previous 4…great staff, awesone room ( deluxe pool access), amazing breakfast, really well situated to great restaurants and beach. simply put , our luxury home away from home

We’ve just finished a 5 day family holiday at Kata Palm and I cannot fault this hotel. Best pools I’ve ever seen, food is great, staff are fantastic. Location is ideal and we can’t wait to book this hotel again. Also poolside massages were fantastic Completely disagree with any of the negative reviews, we had the best time:).

Great pool, room service and mini bar.

Good hotel, great location handy to shops and restaurants. Room was good comfy bed great shower. AC really good had to keep switching it off. Staff throughout hotel were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was good fruit was really good seemed to try and vary things each day. Only complaint was lack of shelving to put clothes in but minor overall. I would say a typical hotel similar to other hotels we have stayed in Thailand
