Perfect location, 5 minute walk to L train, bus stop right outside the door. Close to the lake and Wrigley Field. Great value compared to hotels in the area.

No in-room housekeeping unless you pay extra for it, even though I paid a $35 cleaning fee. (And was asked to tip the housekeepers when I checked out.....) A/C was often on even when it was chilly outside. (Rooms don't have individual climate control.) I was cold most of the time I was there. Downstairs rooms are dark and loud. (To be fair, the property cautions you about this before you book.)

Very generous and ample offerings in the kitchen for breakast.

One sugar free cereal option. I also couldn't find salt or pepper for protein I brought myself. Whether people augment breakfast with a hard-boiled egg or canned tuna or a pouch of salmon, it's nice to have salt and/or pepper. AMPLE other seasonings -- cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice for oatmeal, for example -- but maybe it was just me and my lack of sleuth detective skills, but I couldn't find salt and pepper.
