Breakfast was fine. The location was good. Having hot water, coffee downstairs and having a fridge in the room was good.

The "staff" (not on-site, only avail via remote chat) was not polite when responding. I put something in the fridge upstairs because I arrived early and didn't have access to my room yet. The item was gone when I went back. I asked the "staff" via chat and I was simply told that's not allowed and it was either moved or thrown out. No apology, no mention of understanding that you may not have known this in advance, no empathy. Then I messaged the staff about housekeeping service, that I would be gone by 12 the next day and my room would be empty and available for service. The response was "housekeeping service is between 11-4 based on the housekeeper's schedule." Again, no sense of politeness, empathy, patience, warmth. The tone from both interactions was "this is how it is, and you'll have to deal with it, like it or not." There was no sense of hospitality. This is compounded by the threats of penalties if items are removed from the kitchen after breakfast hours. The room was freezing 24 hours per day, because there was no thermostat in the room. There was a sign saying the thermostat was in the hallway, but it was locked and unable to be adjusted. There were only 2 hangers. The bed in unit 7 was very awkward. I have a lower back injury, and the bed is wedged in a 3-walled alcove, so only the foot of the bed isn't touching a wall. You have to climb in and out of the bed through the foot of it. It hurt my back to have to flip over on all 4s to crawl out of the bed backwards. The fridge in my room froze everything inside and was not able to be adjusted. I had to keep unplugging it for a few hours then plugging it back in.

It’s a very tiny place, a little hard to find and also there was someone knocking in the door at 3 am and woke us up, they were knocking for like an hour
