Fantastic breakfast buffet. Recently renovated rooms with nice showers, but need more shelves/storage options for clothes/gear. Beds were a bit too hard for me but my family liked them.

Wifi only worked in lounge so was often full of people doing work zoom calls which was annoying. recently renovated rooms but lighting poor and leaking window with cold water/ice pooling on windowsill. Bar downstairs meant noisy people leaving at 1am waking us up. Staff didn't know much about lift passes so couldnt assist much. Was surprised that they hadn't been informed much. Often had to ask staff to refill the hot water for tea. We were supposed to be staying at Unplan 2 which is supposedly more family friendly and ski in/out. Unplan 1 is more of a hostel with less kids and a 100m walk to the lifts. Expensive in house sauna and restaurant so didn't use either of these.

Stayed an unplanned 2 which is ski 2 door , there is large common area so you don’t feel cramped in the building and even though it was fully booked it wasn’t busy in the common areas Staff were friendly and helpful

Pretty basic and some cheap rubbish furniture and table hockey, for the price probably expected it to be a little bit tidier Needs to heat it in the bathroom as it’s freezing

Very good location for tsugaike gondola and buses to other resorts. Decent bathroom facilities all round and other helpful stuff like drying room. Breakfast was good with fair amount of options and overall a decent place to stay in tsugaike. Bonus points for the sauna very nice. Staff were always polite and helpful.

I found the beds in the dorm rooms to be very soft and the pillows not great. Getting hold of a towel was hard as they weren’t replenished daily even though I returned mine after each use. Also could do with a shuttle to and from hakuba station and/or Happo bus terminal.

Great location and even better staff. I had a great stay!
