Three Village Inn

The Inn is located in such an inviting and lovely area, so much potential but I am very disappointed in stay. Even though my cottage was perfect in size, super spacious, facing the docks - so beautiful, there were some major concerns. The following are a few of those concerns: (1) stained bedsheets; (2) TV and phones did not work - no way to communicate with front desk; (3) moldy shower curtains; (4) dysfunctional AC; (5) check-in process was not ideal - no info on inn, hours and other amenities were provided at all; (6) no one in the front desk 24/7 (even though online it says they are open 24/7). Overall, I must say that this stay was not worth the price (paid over $445 for 2 nights when I could have stayed at a nearby hotel for half the price).

Nice restaurant in a very pretty historic inn in the very cute town of Stony Brook. The food is essentially pub food but it’s quite good. The service is very friendly and the biz of locals made it a very enjoyable evening. I had a simply prepared halibut that was a very generous portion, a really good cut of fish and it was prepared perfectly.

Room is outdated and could be cleaner. Bed was not that comfortable. .

The lady at the reception was extremely nice and helpful, let me check in at 10:30AM. The room was large and comfortable. The surrounding is quiet.

The hotel does not serve breakfast, and there is no nearby grocery store. The streets to the university are not lit during night and do not have sidewalks, which is a problem when walking back from the university after sunset.

The location was great. Walked to shops and restaurants. Near the water. Parks. Boats

Small room. Missed having a mini fridge for convenience. Lamp broken. Light in bathroom broken. No ice available.

Room was smalll for three people. Dirt was obvious underneath dresser. Terrible view.

Good location…but

Run down place that should be torn down. This place smelled like urine. The shower was moldy and just gross. Curtain rods were damaged and hanging 5 inches on one side lower than the other.
